Job Description:
1. Maintaining High standards of professional service in Anesthesiology service. This is done through:

a. Personal supervision and consultation with members of the staff on matters of patient care
b. Constantly keeping abreast of and informing others of medical and surgical advances that are applicable in In-patient care.

2. Assists in responsibility for the quality of anesthetic care at Tarini Cancer Hospital & Research Institute. This includes routine and emergency consultation on problems of anesthetic technique and inhalation therapy. Assists in policy decision on choice of techniques.

3. Informs staff of new advances in anesthesiology that might be applied at the institute.

4. Participates in the selection of new and replacement equipments in anesthesia, including monitoring and resuscitative techniques.

5. Instructs nursing staff in anesthesia related nursing problem and resuscitative techniques.

6. Teaches and improves technique of nurse anesthetists where applicable.

7. Manage the pain clinic for cancer patients at the institute.

8. Perform other duties as assigned

Desired Candidate Profile:
1. The anesthetist should be able to withstand long lasting cancer surgeries.

2. He/She should be well versed with I.C.U. care including ventilator handling.

3. The anesthetist should be able to manage the pain relief clinic for cancer patients.

4. Experience in oncology/multi-specialty hospital will be highly preferred.

Company Profile:
TCHRI is a 110-bedded single specialty cancer institute in

the district of Alwar with a vision to provide access to quality

cancer care at the district level. It is an oncologist led and

managed institute where quality work is the top priority. The

institute is equipped with a Hi-speed Single slice, sub second

timing Spiral C.T. Scan by Wipro GE, a 500 mA digital X-ray

with IITV, a 100 mA Portable digital X-ray unit by GE, a

digital Mammography by GE, CR System by AGFA and an

Ultrasound unit by GE. There are established departments

for surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology

(with a Linear Accelerator) and gynec oncology. It is a one

year old cancer institute with a patient base of over 1200

patients.

There are 2 Major operation theaters spanning across 3000

sq. feet of area with Philips O.T. lights, anti-fungal epoxy

paints, bi-laminar flow, heppa filters, conductive vinyl

flooring and automatic scrub station. There is one minor

O.T. in the O.P.D. block. A 7-bedded I.C.U. is managed with

Hamilton Ventilator and monitors.
