Description Of Job
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with min. 8 years piping experience in petrochemical plant. Specialization in piping layouts and systems design for projects in the hydrocarbon area.
• The candidate needs to be experienced in Material Take Off (MTO).
• Capability to work independently and prepare plot plans, piping plan, isometrics, support detailing, MTO, specifications, etc
• Must have experience with application of softwares such as 3D Modeling and Auto Plant. Exposure to other piping softwares as PDS and PDMS will be an added advantage.
• Should have experience in Piping Design, Support Engineering and Materials in petrochemical, refinery, oil and gas sectors.
• Experience in relevant national and international piping codes and standards is essential. Codes such as B31.1, B31.3 and standards like API, IS, BS, ASME etc
