Density based traffic control with ambulance and VIP vehicle priority . (Microcontroller Based)
Abstract :- We are all aware about the normal traffic control systems used in our place. It works on simple principle by giving a particular time slice for each lane i.e., each lane will be given a particular time and after that the vehicle in that lane will be stopped and the next lane will be let open. In this system there is always a logical problem with the density of the vehicles waiting in the lanes i.e., the system will not take care of the number of vehicles waiting in the lane.
And this lead to the development of our “density base traffic control with ambulance and VIP vehicle priority”. The system is developed so smart that the system will let the lane with a higher density to have more time slice that that of the lower. So that the rush can be cleared as soon as possible.
The system consists of a microcontroller interfaced with a network of IR modules, an RF receiver and an SEVEN SEGMENT display.
