Overview :

This position is part of the legal team in India.

Responsibilities :
* Technical Analyst will work under limited supervision to plan and execute the analysis of complex business problems to be solved through a contract management system application and with other automated systems. This position reports to the Legal Department.
* New deployments and development : define requirements assume the lead in development of workflows, conduct early technical feasibility testing use case scenarios in a test/development environment.
* Develop solution design documents and coordinate implementation activities with IT, legal department, business users and other stakeholders.
* Configure system settings and options.
* Plan and execute unit and integration testing with IT as needed, plan and execute user acceptance testing.
* Work closely with IT organization in connection with all new development and deployment activities.
* Design and provide detailed implementation specifications
* Participate in implementation reviews
* Transfer knowledge of system deployment and new developments to legal department users via formal and informal training sessions.
* Participate in new release feature and functionality reviews with legal business analyst, and provide technical support and input.
* Create and maintain reports and advanced search, manage and prioritize business user requests for reports and saved searches.

Qualifications :
* Graduate / post-graduate in Computer Science or related fields with 6-8 years of total IT experience
* Excellent project management and people skills
* Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
* Ability to multitask between projects with minimal loss in productivity
* Proven ability and desire to deliver projects on time
* Able to cope with and thrive in uncertain and changing project requirements
* Ability to lead technical projects to user requirements successfully
* J2EE development experience with heavy use of all important Java technologies
* Web application engineering skills to include, for example, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Struts/Tiles, Spring, JSF and Hibernate
* OR mapping and RDBMS engineering skills on Oracle and MS SQL Server to include proficiency with SQL, DDL, stored procedures, and schema design
* Working experience with development tools (CVS, Eclipse) and CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
