International Elite Consulting Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai : Qualitative Analyst
internationaleliteconsulting Ahmedabad, Bengaluru/Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs : Qualitative Analyst
Designation: Qualitative Analyst
Experience: 0 - 5 Years
Location: Ahmedabad, Bengaluru/Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad / Secunderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs
Job Description:
We are a mathematical, statistical, and strategic consulting firm in seek of several work-from-home analysts to do projects for our Qualitative Division, mostly in our dissertation consulting division.
First, and most importantly, we would like to mention how high the pay is. A hard worker can realistically earn anywhere from $3000-$5000 USD a month, with some of our contractors earning above $8,000 USD per month over certain spans of time in our busiest seasons. The workload is extremely heavy, and the quality of work you are expected to produce is incredibly high. That said, this job will pay orders of magnitude better than anything comparable for legitimate, at-home work. Before applying, ask yourself: why should I deserve this position instead of the 10,000 other candidates? Then, tell us why you should get it.
This qualitative analyst position would entail primarily working on projects in our dissertation consulting, academic journal article assistance, and format/style editing divisions:
• Format/style edits (grammar, spelling, reference checks, etc.) to dissertations, journal articles, and books.
• Doing online library research and writing literature reviews for academic journal articles, dissertations, or internal research for projects that our principal researchers are working on;
• Fixing up grammatical issues, content consistency, flow, logical reasoning, etc for dissertations or academic journal articles of our clients
• Planning qualitative methodologies for research studies (doctoral dissertations, mostly)
Exceptional English writing ability is necessary, as all writing and editing will be in English.
The costs and benefits of the positions are summarized below -->
Great Parts of the Job:
• You can make an astounding amount of money working from home, if you’re a self-starter and can manage and prioritize deadlines. If this worked out over the first couple of months (during which you’d be going through a lot of training in qualitative and research methodology), we would be almost immediately willing to send you as much work as you could handle. By the end of the summer, you could surely be making over $1,000 per week of work if you were capable of keeping a moderate/large workload WHILE MAINTAINING STELLAR QUALITY IN YOUR PROJECTS. We pay our outside contractors on a per-project basis, from $125-$250 per project, depending on length and difficulty.
• We have a 3 month training program for all new analysts, during which time you'd learn A TON about doing independent research, logical reasoning, writing academic work, format and style editing, etc. All projects are reviewed by our Director of Qualitative Research, and he personally oversees the entire training process, in which you’d be learning virtually every qualitative methodology under the sun, every reasonable formatting method (APA, MLA, Turabian, etc), and all of our standard practices. You’d also (because most of your initial projects would be in our academic divisions) be introduced to projects in a variety of disciplines, including psychology, education, nursing, economics, etc.
• You can work in your pajamas if you wish…and you can make your own hours in a sense so long as EVERYTHING is done on time and to an extremely high standard.
Challenging Parts of the job:
• The workload can be tedious, and the revision process (getting the work just right, dealing with feedback from the Director of our Qualitative Division) can be lengthy if the original quality of your work isn’t adequate. As noted directly above: ***The standard/quality of the work must be very high, (diligence is key), and there are often several revisions we'd require after reviewing the work, etc. The assignments (and academic work/publishing in general) can be VERY tedious and require a VERY detail-oriented person****
Desired Candidate Profile:
We are looking for several extremely experienced, incredibly hard-working, and astoundingly brilliant individuals to join our team (working from home) starting as soon as possible, as our busiest season has commenced. Exceptional candidates will have a significant qualitative background and will relish the idea of making money at home doing interesting work and being exposed to PhD-level analytic research. The candidate should be a writer and researcher, first and foremost. Comfort with editing, particularly APA editing, is a must. This is a work-from-home position and our ideal applicant must have exceptional researching, writing, and APA editing skills, as well as be capable of handling an intense workload under pressure. This applicant must be a self-starter who has access to scholarly articles and is comfortable with conducting in-depth research, writing, and APA editing in short periods of time and with limited guidance. An excellent grasp of grammar, eloquent writing style, great communication skills, positive attitude, around-the-clock and IMMEDIATE availability (we mean this literally, as we expect daily status reports and are on G Talk constantly!), immaculate attention to detail, high tolerance for long hours and tedious work, and a diligent work ethic are all necessary to apply for this job.
If you have the qualifications we need, i.e. you are comfortable and precise with writing high-quality work in short periods of time, are outstanding at APA editing, take direction well, and have a GREAT attitude, you can email us at the address provided. Please include your CV (in the body of the email rather than as an attachment for our ease of review, if possible), writing experience, a writing sample, and *most important* one paragraph about why YOU should be given the opportunity, what makes YOU so worth hiring. In the subject line, please specify, “Qualitative Analyst Position.”
Company Profile:
We are a mathematical, statistical, and strategic consulting firm in seek of several work-from-home analysts to do projects for our Qualitative Division, mostly in our dissertation consulting division. Our clients consist of doctoral students, Fortune 500 companies, medical/pharmaceutical companies, and smaller businesses.
We'll respond back to good candidates within 48-72 hours with next steps and samples of the type of work we do and what would be required of you. We want to bring on new qualitative analysts to begin working immediately. Our trial process to bring on new contractors involves 1 paid trial project, to gauge the quality of your work and your fit with our team.

Qualitative Analyst Position
Hi Dan,
I am writing to present before you my candidature for the position of Qualitative Analyst. I have been writing articles, poems and short stories from the age of 15. I have got many of my poems and articles published in school, college and national magazines. Seeing my interest in writing, my parents enrolled me for a Diploma in Creative Writing in English along with my graduation. Then I went on to do my Masters in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing. During my summer internship with Tata International Ltd., Dewas, my work required me to do vast research on the internet daily.
This exposure to internet research has taught me to do very specific and narrow research with precision and relevance. I use this experience every time I am on the internet. After my post graduation, I started a career in training, which graduated from training graduates, to training business executives and managers. My core areas in training have been management, marketing, research, communication, organisational behaviour and project management. Apart from training, I have also been writing articles and short stories, editing user manuals, CVs and operating procedures, and simultaneously researching on various work-related aspects.

Metamorphosis is fundamental to fly high!
Nature provides us with immense evidence of how metamorphosis transforms an organism into an incredible form. A child would wonder with high-raised eyebrows and mouth wide-open to see a larvae metamorphose into a cocoon and then into a breath-taking colorful butterfly. So is true to the human nature. Fundamentally, we have all been living with our so called indelible nature and personal traits. It is, but difficult to metamorphose into an evolved and professional form. Nevertheless, it is very much possible, and more so because, it is the call of the hour.
Today, we have no other option; but to change for the best. And the change could be in interpersonal communication, ability to say a ‘sorry’, open to be thankful to others, developing inquisitiveness for learning, having the heart to appreciate others, start listening and not just hearing, respecting personal life as much as professional life and the list could go on and on; because there is no end to learning. The words of Shakespeare, ‘I shall show you fear in a handful of dust’, are a bitter reality. The struggle to prove oneself has to be complimented with unparallel attitude and composure. It is a constant endeavor and should never be loosened with fear of the uncertain. Knowledge of one’s potential can be of first hand help in carving one’s path. William Blake has very aptly said:
“Sweet are the uses of adversity,
Which, like a toad,
Ugly and venomous,
Wears still a jewel on its head.”
Metamorphosis could be amidst harsh and adverse circumstances; also, our efforts to be professionally empowered and developed could have many adversities. But all it leads us to, is a self-actualized position, from where the ugly path and venomous struggle could be interpreted to give a glittering and bright meaning.
It would be worth mentioning here that humble beginnings fostered with courage, determination, vision and openness to metamorphose, leads to a laudable position in life. Arun Sarin, the global ex-CEO of Vodafone was born in Pachmari; and his humble beginning only fostered his metamorphosis into a global tycoon, passing through many intermediate stages of struggle and perspiration in his life.
It is the people who make up an organization; and a forward-looking organization is made up of visionary people who can row the boat with symbiotic efforts through rough tides till the water becomes calm enough for them to enjoy a pleasant journey.
As the sea tide changes, so do the nature, the seasons, the vegetation, the trees, flora and fauna. It is thus a universal fact that, transformation is for the better and metamorphosis is fundamental to fly high in life.
Fast Failures
There was a time when electronics giants all over the world stood tall on their new concept in technology – the Pager, not long time back. Introspect, and it was less than a decade back. In the past seven to eight years, technology has taken a Quantum Leap, and the future is going to be harder to believe. The so called gestation period for a technology used to be over six years earlier, as against six hours today. Such is the evolution of the human mind and its thought process. As soon as a product or service is launched and floated in the market, the mind behind it must have already started working on developing the next variant of it. Appropriately, the call of the day is agility.
Even before we could know the benefits of owning a Pager, the technology fell off like a pack of cards, only to stand back again in the form of a better utility gadget. It is not just about technology, but trial and error efforts exist almost in all areas, in all industries. Every project is characterized by salient features unique to it. It needs to be anchored amidst the stormy conditions of uncertainty, ambiguity, high speed and complexity. These conditions of yesteryears’ projects have become the characteristics of today’s projects, coined as Extreme Projects.
In the words of Douglas de Carlo, “Extreme projects are like jazz. To the unaccustomed ear, jazz might appear to be random and chaotic, but it is not. There is a framework, and the jazz musician has a lot of room to improvise within it. Jazz is not ad hoc. Nor is XPM (Xtreme Project Management), as many mistakenly believe.”
Tom Peters, the management guru, calls this approach of XPM, “Fast Failures” i.e. recurring trial and error. “Getting it right the last time”, as Doug de Carlo terms it.
In case of new products, there has been innumerable number of failures. A research indicates that 90 % of new product ventures fail due to the following reasons:
· Lack of differential advantage
· Distribution related problems
· Poor timing of launch
· Improper positioning
· Poor planning
· Technical problems in the product
· Competitors fighting back harder than expected
· Poor market research
This attributes to the necessity of proper identification, detection and analysis of probable points of failure in any project. Fast failures are a good sign; they constitute values for a firm. Failures need to be fast to move forward, to change ways and try different and more efficient combinations. They save time and cost on venturing hard on a not- so- effective proposition. Hence, it’s better to know today, that something won’t work, rather than knowing it tomorrow, when you may have already expended valuable time and money to bring up the idea into fruition.
The Objectivity of Capability
The words “able” and “capable” are often used interchangeably in our daily lives. Even the MS-Word returns ‘capable’ as a synonym of ‘able’. However, there exists a thin line of distinction between the two terms. If I say, “I am able to manage my home and office judiciously”, I am talking about my ability, which is subjective. On the other hand, if I say, “I am capable of typing 70 words per minute”, I am stating my capability, which is objective. So ability is what one feels one could do and capability is what one knows one can do. Ability is a quality and capability is a quantity. Consequently, the former is an art whereas, the latter is a science.
Let us now apply the same logic to workforce. When we talk of workforce capability, we mean the quantifiable aspects of workforce like performance, functional contributions, cross-functional contributions, competencies, etc. which can be measured and stated objectively for every individual. Capability talks about numbers and quantities. A person may spend 4 hrs to create a table in an excel sheet, when another person may do the same task in just 30 minutes. For every individual, capability is a definition of his / her current proficiency, in numbers. Therefore, it goes without saying that in the aforesaid example the person who can make a table in 30 minutes is more proficient than the former.
We may be able to do umpteen number of tasks, but what is it that defines our capability has to be thought about. The discipline / technology in which we specialize create in us a knowledge base to make us able to perform a task. Our ability to put in a certain level of performance over time creates a quantitatively expressible capability, which is our competency. In order to develop this competency we need to nurture learning, and when the learning is exponential, it leads to continuous improvement resulting in more experience and addition to our know-how. This can be illustrated as given below:
Japanese are very good at numbers, which is precisely the reason why they propagate a concept known as Kaizen. It is all about improvement and continuous improvement and not about consistency and uniformity. So, if a person learns one new thing today, tomorrow he / she will have to learn a little more and the next day further more and so on and so forth. This ensures a person’s continuous improvement in whatever he / she does, thereby negating any chance of stagnancy.
So let us be inquisitive enough to start questioning, reasoning, understanding and comprehending everything for our own self development. After all, learning individuals make up a learning organization which in turn, increases the workforce capability.
Why I should be given this opportunity
