Job Responsibilities :
* Reading Client Specifications and preparation of deviation / clarification documents and negotiations with Client / or Clients consultants
* Communicating and negotiating with consortium partners, EPCs and sub-Vendors and finalization of Division of Responsibility, contract interface, and technical details etc.
* Preparation Input/Output List, Instrument List etc
* Design of Control Logic Diagram, Design of Graphic screens and Operator screens etc.
* Knowledge of wiring diagrams, instrument loop schematics, Interlock diagrams, Cause and Effect diagrams, etc.
* Preparation of purchase specifications for DCS, sensor and other instruments required in a power plant
* Knowledge of DCS, PLC and its software
* Knowledge of control cabinet design
* Negotiation and correspondence with customers / consultants on I&C portion
* Evaluating offers from vendors and selection of Vendor.
* Negotiating Scope, Quality, Design Conditions and other technical terms and conditions with the vendor.
* Control and Management of Vendor after the award of contract through project completion.
* Interacting with Mechanical and Electrical teams of the Project to develop detailed design of I&C Systems
* Experience in carrying out survey, inquiry & technical evaluation of various I&C systems & its components.
* Experience in witness of Factory Acceptance Test of Control System.

Qualification & Experience :
* Full time Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation / Control System Engineering from reputed institutes with good academic records.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a reputed manufacturing company, EPC, Engineering or Consultancy Company that deals with the design, feasibility studies, bidding, engineering, construction & procurement activities of large combined cycle and thermal power plants.
* Candidates with more experience would be considered for Lead Engineer and/or Managerial Position.

Desirable :
* Exposure to Combined cycle power plant systems.
* Exposure to International projects.
* Experience in EPC companies.
* Knowledge on relevant International codes & standards.
