Job Description:
Verify DT design physically and analytically.
Assist in design reviews / DFMEA's, identify failure modes early in concept phase of design.
Life prediction, using analytical tools.
Close V2net activities raised against PVV proving.
Field failures simulation in lab - to understand and prove root causes for failure. Conduct proper DOE's to assist in Root Cause Analysis / suggesting solution.
Provides root cause analysis report once component failure is encountered.
Understand DT duty cycles and derive relevant lab testing procedures and mature it with experience gained.
Get global design / PVV team in to confidence based on the value additions provided in respective work environment.

Desired Candidate Profile:
7-10 Yrs relevant Experience in Drive Train design /
Testing experience,
Gear manufacturing process,
casting manufacturing process, exposure to mechanical / hydraulic actuated gear boxes.
Gear / bearing life prediction tools like LDP / Romax, metallurgical / metrology checking of gears,
knowledge of materials and heat treatment procedures of gears, different hydraulic components and establishing its performance.
