6-8 years of overall experience of which at least 3-5 years should have been in commercial collections (Managerial)

1) ANTIBACTERIAL ACTIVITY OF ALGAE
This project was done in K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode.

Description :
First I had taken the different types of algae such as Nostoc, Oscillatoria, Pseudomonas, and Streptococcus.

Then prepared the Nutrient Agar Medium with suitable composition
That medium was poured into Petri plates and kept in inoculation chamber to solidify the medium for 5-15 minutes.
After medium was solidified the algae was inoculated and colonies were grown

After colonies were grown then anti bacterial activity of algae was examined.
2) MOLECULAR CHARACTERIZATION OF INTERSPECIFIC HYBRIDS
OF SUGARCANE
This Project was done in Sugarcane Breeding Institute, Coimbatore.
Description :
Sugarcane Shoot tips are taken and extract are taken by using Mortar and Pestle

Then isolated the DNA by that extract and 10 nanogram dilution was made.
With that 10 nanogram DNA it is kept for PCR to amplify the DNA

The PCR product had taken and 4µl of Non-Denaturing Dye was added and loaded into the wells in the Electrophoresis tank.
After that gel was taken and Silver Staining was done and the bands are checked by using the Staining method
The Parents taken are =Co-8371 and Male=IND-84-415

Progenies are 891,897,900,903,910,914,1969,1975,1985,1993
