# Drafting of various agreements and deeds such as mortgages, hypothecation, pledge, guarantees, credit facility agreement, indemnity, affidavit etc.
# Advising the branches on the security documents to be obtained based on sanction letter.
# Providing clearance to the documents executed by the borrowers.
# Vetting of documents and investigation of title to the property.
# Approval of plaints, written statements, replies to the notices and drafting of notices.
# Attending Courts and Tribunals in cases filed by and against bank.
# Interacting with the advocates/counsels in suit filed cases and follow up with the advocates.
# Advising branches and field offices on the legal issues.

Desired Candidate Profile:
# Good knowledge of laws applicable to banking such as Negotiable Instruments Act, Transfer of Property Act, Contract Act, DRT Act, Securitization Act, Companies Act, Banking Regulation Act etc.

# Updated knowledge on case laws related to banking.

# Preferably from Banking sector.
