Summary of responsibilities and duties
• Act as senior engineer, in support of the lead engineer, on conceptual or detailed design projects, which
might involve jacket design, fixed topside design, flare stack design or FPSO module design.
• The senior engineer will take the responsibility for all the technical issues on projects.
• Define and manage scopes of work for engineering/construction.
• Provide engineering support at technical specialist level.
• Review and check structural design drawings.
• Guarantee the quality of all produced engineering deliverables.
• Coach junior engineers.
• Assist in developing the department

Qualifications
• Minimal 8 years of relevant experience in structural offshore engineering work (jacket and topside
design).
• In depth experience in at least three of the following area’s is considered a must:
– Topsides design on FPSO’s
– Dynamic earthquake calculations
– Dynamic blast calculations
– Fatigue calculations
– Ice loading
– FEM modeling
• MSc level Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English in writing and speech.
