Job Description:
The primary responsibilities (job functions) are as under :
Preparation of Mechanical Data Sheets ( MDS ) i.e. Enquiry Specifications for the Rotary Equipments and The packaged Systems This will be based on the Process Data Sheets.

Technical discussions with various disciplines for the finalization of the Enquiry specs.
Evaluation of technical offers received against the enquiries. Technical discussions with the vendors. Preparation of Technical Bid analysis for submission to the client.
Selection and Recommendations based upon the best efficiency of the equipment and it’s optimum usage.
Technical Discussions with the client.
Preparation of work Document Delivery Schedule and Updating of the same for the progress reporting to Project Manager.
Preparation of Order specifications for the selected vendor.
Vendor drawings review in detail pertaining to the designs , installation, Connections and compliance with the enquiry specifications. Inter Disciplinary discussions to complete the review and approval of the drawings. This is primarily for the Packaged systems.
To resolve ant technical queries on the drawings / documents reviews.
Follow the Quality management procedure of the organization. Understand and implementation of ISO requirements
Extra tasks for the HOD :
Minimum 20 years experience.
11 . Manpower allocation and planning.
12 . Liasioning with Client , vendors , contractors as and when called for.
13 . To lead the team of Engineers in order to achieve the targets as per planned schedule.
14. Develop procedures and objectives for improvisation of job quality within the discipline.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian University (UGC approved) or from Overseas University.
Experience in : Machinery/
rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines),
package,
utility systems (boiler, water treatment plant, nitrogen system, air drying plant, hot oil system),
material handling(pneumatic/belt conveyor).
a hardcore design person who has worked for several years in reputed Multinational / International Engineering Consultancies.
Experience in reputed engineering/EPC firms for refineries, chemical, petrochemical oil & gas projects in design for Rotating Equipment and Package Units (viz. Pumps, Compressors, Fans and Blowers, HVAC and Refrigeration Packages, Boilers, Fired heaters, Flare Stacks , Water treatment , Effluent treatment , Cooling Towers, Filteration units, Scrubbing systems, Material Handling systems etc.) with good knowledge of relevant International Engineering Codes and Standards. He shall have necessary exposure in the Utility systems detailing including packages specifications finalisation with necessary liasioning with Process Group.
Knowledge of fire water system as per NFPA / Insurance requirement and water treatment plant is preferred

“PNEUMATIC CAR” Carried out in PDA College, Gulbarga.

Description of project:
In this project, the methodology of developing pneumatic power generating concept is developed. The pneumatic cylinders are used to activate the cranking and to complete the rotation of the cranking with the help of two number of cylinder with requisite torque through valves.
In this reciprocating action of the piston is converted into rotary motion by cranking method, which intern transmits the power to rear axle by connecting rod and cams.
