    Title - “Pharmacological Studies on drug-drug interactions between Antidiabetic drug (glibenclamide) and Selective antidepressant (imipramine) drug”.
    Project Objectives -
    As a part of my research project, I am studying the influence of selected antidepressant (imipramine) on the hypoglycemic activity of antidiabetic drug (glibenclamide) in rats and rabbits. The main objective of the work is to study the pharmacodynamic drug interaction of antidepressant drug imipramine and glibenclamide. The study was intended to find out the safety of the combination of imipramine and glibenclamide in patients using this combination for management of simultaneous complication of diabetes and depression.
