Job Description:
Primary purpose / Basic function:
Respond to technical customer issues quickly with credibility and professionalism with the ultimate goal to create customer loyalty; support pre- and post-sales activities.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Key job responsibilities
In this position you will:
• Acquire and maintain a hands-on knowledge of the complete ETAS product line with a focus on measurement and calibration tools.
• Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the customer applications and use cases. Utilize this understanding for enhancing the customer’s efficiency and for providing optimized solutions to customer issues.
• Support the post-sales cycle through technical assistance, trouble shooting, coaching, and training.
• Support the pre-sales cycle through technical assistance, like demonstrations and support in evaluation projects.
• Act as the first contact for all customer support calls / contacts. Track customer calls and ensure a timely closure of these calls.

Qualifications
• Excellent interpersonal skills; customer interaction experience is beneficial.
• Previous work in the automotive embedded controls environments desired.
• An understanding of embedded control theory is a plus. Past software development experience related to control or system design, support, or applications, is a plus.
• Automotive software development know-how and good programming skills.
• A desire for continuous self-improvement is essential in this role to support ETAS’ mission to become the preferred partner for automotive embedded system development.
• Flexibility for traveling to customers in India and occasional visits to ETAS headquarter in Germany.
