IJT addict
Dear Sir,
I like to introduce myself as a Postdoctoral fellow (Alexander von Humboldt) working with Prof. Dr. Oliver Reiser in the Institute of Organic Chemistry, University Regensburg, Germany from September' 2009 till date. I am very much interested to continue my career in your esteemed Industry.
I have finished my PhD in Asymmetric Organic Synthesis from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur with Dr. Saumen Hajra in 2007. My PhD thesis title is - ''Studies on Asymmetric Halohydrin and Aldol Reactions: Enantioselective Synthesis of Chloramphenicol, Thiamphenicol and Paraconic Acids''.
Later on I moved to Technion, Israel (Feb' 2007 to May 2008) with Prof. Ehud Keinan (President, Israel Chemical Society) followed by his another lab at The Scripps Research Institute, California, USA (June' 2008 to May' 2009) as Research Associate.
In both Technion and Scripps, I was associated with Host-Guest chemistry of Cucurbiturils (Synthesis, Purification and their applications).
After finishing my projects successfully with Prof. Keinan, I moved to University Regensburg, Germany (Prof. Oliver Reiser Group) with Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral Fellowship and I am still continuing here and Currently, I am working in -
(a) Metal - Amino Acid Catalysis in organic transformations and
(b) Carbon coated nano-particles as globular supports for catalysts in Asymmetric Organic Reactions.
I am looking forward to getting an opportunity to proof my ability and to contribute my experience and knowledge.
Here, I have included my Curriculum Vitae with all the required information.
Please have a look to my CV and kindly let me know, if there will be an opportunity and if I need to send you further documents in this regard.
Waiting for your kind reply,
Thank you very much,
