Desired Candidate Profile:
M.Sc. in Agriculture or Botany or M. Tech in Bio-Technology with 5 yrs experience in in-Vitro propagation of horticultural plants or B.Sc. (Hons) in Agricultural or Botany with 8 – 10 yrs experience in the same discipline.

Location of posting: West Bengal but likely to be transferred anywhere in India.

I have one year research experience as a project student during my PG course. During which, I have communicated one article in ‘Journal of International Polymers’ and also presented a paper in an international conference. Now I am doing a project in the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India in the field of biosensing materials, it will over by the end of this April. I have well experienced with the processing instruments and testing instruments. My post graduation will complete on 25th April. So I am looking for in my next career step in research.

PROJECTS
1. Development of an adhesive based on Polyvinyl alcohol solution and Natural Rubber Latex and characterized the shear strength and peel strength by universal testing machine.
2. Study on the reinforcement effects of cellulosic polymers extracted from the sugarcane bagasse in the acrylonitrile butadiene rubber matrix by the mechanical properties using universal testing machine and characterized by different properties like thermal stability by Thermogravimetric Analysis, water absorption, morphological properties by Scanning Electron Microscope.
3. Preparation and characterization of MWCNT-g-Chitosan-PLA composite for application of chemical vapour sensing and also for detection of biomolecules. (Ongoing in National Chemical Laboratory, Pune).
