Job Description Develop most practical layout and arrangement by visualizing entire job from the standpoint of design strength, arrangement, and relationship of components to others. Recommend changes in design to simplify or improve basic designs.

Check own drawings for accuracy, completeness, and practicality of manufacture, installation and maintenance.

Review supplier and lower level drafters equipment drawings for conformance to customer specifications, approved practices, standards and codes governing that phase of work.

Check computer input sheets utilizing applicable existing computer programs. Check and interpret computer feedback information as required.

Responsible for instructing/training drafters in the technical details of drafting work.

Responsible for reducing the recurrence of errors.

Desired Profile A thorough knowledge of drafting principals applied to respective phase of work with CAD (Autocad / Microstation) experience is essential.

Experience in PDS/PDMS/SP3D, Solid Edge, X- steel will be desirable.
