Velath Engineering International FZC is a 24 year old ASME authorised and ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer of storage tanks, pressure vessels, and heavy steel fabrication, and is an approved vendor for leading O&G organizations in the UAE and GCC. The company has operations in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and HFZ and undertakes work related to projects in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Sudan, Yemen and other countries in the Middle East. We have two Tank Farm projects currently; one is within Jebel Ali International Airport, Dubai, and the other is for Borouge at Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. We have immediate requirement for QA/QC Managers for both projects. They will be the overall in-charge for ensuring the quality aspect of the projects involved and will report directly to Management. They will have demonstrated experience in a similar position or will have the skill-set required for this position.Establishment, operation and maintenance of quality management system in compliance with ISO 9000. Should be able to develop quality system, plans, QC procedure, inspection plans and contract specific work procedures. Must have in depth technical knowledge in materials, welding, coating/painting, NDE inspection. Experience with shop and site constructed storage tanks is a must.
