Description :
Transportation is playing a major role in day to day life. It is necessary in all cases of regular life. Where as in modes of transportation, road transportation is commonly used. For good and durability of road, the design should be a safe one considering all parameters.
The tests that are to be performed on soil in order to lay sub base course are discussed. How the CBR test is to be performed is explained and based on performance the thickness of sub base course is designed. Tests are also made on fresh concrete like Slump cone test for finding workability. Finding compressive strength of casted cubes in regular periods. Regarding to the test results the rigid pavement is designed. In this design code book IRC 582002 has been used .in this design excel program sheet is also used.

Job Responsibility :
Responsible for blasting and coating of Offshore Platforms for ONGC & GSPC’s project at LEARSEN & TOUBRO HAZIRA (SURAT,GUJRAT)
Deploy work force, Planning, Schedule, Safety audit in work site, Communication with other trades and communicate with owner & Paint representative.
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications.
Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.

Job profile :
Planning & execution, inspection of all kind of surface preparation activities.
Specify the procedure for Inspection of blasting & painting as per standards.
Dealing with TPI, Class & Owner Rep. for blasting & painting.
Define painting defects & remedies.
