The company is a leading engineering, procurement, and construction services company, with operations in six continents and presence in more than 100 countries. The MNC is a major name in EPC, Project Consulting, and Engineering Services globally..

Position: Senior Engineer Material Handling
Client: An MNC Engineering Consulting and EPC
Qualification - B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical.
Location: Mumbai.

Requirements
8 - 15 years relevant experience as a design engineer.
Conceptualizing and designing of Lifting Equipments (like Cranes & Hoists), Bulk and unit material handling systems.
Conceptualizing and designing of Lifting/Tilting equipment, size reduction & screening equipment and compressed air system will be considered as an added advantage.
Relevant industrial exposure (e.g. Consumer Durables, Industrial plant, power plant, petrochemical plant etc.).
Knowledge and experience with 3D design software packages, PDS or Auto plant will be considered an asset.
Beside Good analytical ability, communication skill and leadership quality. Shall be able to work independently.
Ability to travel (both domestic and international) and manage the key responsibilities

Responsibilities
· Conceptualizing and designing of Lifting Equipments, Bulk and unit material handling systems, Lifting & Tilting equipment, Size reduction & Screening equipment.
· Preparation of concept notes, General Arrangement drawings, flow diagrams & P&IDs, specification, bid evaluation & recommendation.
· To guide team of engineers/ draftsman working under him.
· Give input in planning activities of the project.
· Carrying out quality checks during site visit.

5 Collection of Tender Doc. From consultant/company through inter net,news paper.
6 Review on tender document, scope of work, project specifications and other contract documents.Register all techno-commercial bid requirement and line up the bid,assit to Compilation of material take- off based on drawings, data- sheets, P&ID, basic design, standards etc.
7 Raising the request for quotations to the vendors. Negotiating with vendors for obtaining rock bottom prices, ensuring senior management is provided with all necessary information to enable competitive pricing decision.
