    Job Description 8.1 Conduct daily rounds of ICU with JC/SMO/PA, assessment of patients and to define treatment plan.
    8.2 Management of adverse events or complications.
    8.3 Performing procedures including endotracheal intubation, placement of invasive lines, etc. as and when required in the ICU. To supervise these procedures when performed by SMO/PA.
    8.4 To accompany primary consultant on ICU round and discuss important and relevant issues.
    8.5 To participate and organize training activities and academic sessions of critical care team, nursing department and other associated departments like anaesthesiology, cardiac surgery.
    8.6 Administrative management of ICU in coordination with nursing. To assign specific administrative responsibilities to JC/SMO.
    8.7 Interaction with patient attendants to brief them about current status, anticipated recovery and any other specific issues or problems.
    8.8 To be available on call after working hours for clinical/administrative ICU issues
