Title: Purchase Order Specialist
Location: Pune
Experience: 2 to 4 years
Required Skills:
Primarily in Commodity Procurement covering IT and Non-IT (Products & Services)
Checks Requisitions, Sources Vendor, Obtains Quotations, Examines Bids and Awards contract
Develops new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate
Coordinates purchasing activities with End user / Units
Monitors the cost, schedule and scope of Vendors to assure best quality at best value
Evaluate Vendor reliability & Performance periodically
Works with limited guidance on projects within defined criteria
Provides solutions to a diverse range of moderately complex problems
Effective Communication, Ability to handle issues
Exposure: Procurement in IT environment
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Desirable: Willing to work in shifts; exposure to tools like Ariba, SAP, etc.; eProcurement events
