Job Description:
Reval Center is the outsourcing department within Reval which provides clients with valuation and hedge accounting outsourcing services spanning multiple product asset classes As a Team Leader, you will lead and assist the Reval Center Group in India that is responsible for implementing, processing, reporting and analysis. As such you will be applying your management skills and subject matter expertise in order to provide team building, efficient operations, effective analysis and problem solving with excellent results. There will be interaction with our clients (during non-NY hours) and also with internal departments, which should be handled with professionalism, friendliness and promptness.
You will be responsible to the Reval Center Operations Manager (NY) for timely completion of deliverables assigned to the Reval Center Operations Group in India.

You will understand, analyze and categorize tasks, in order of priority and assign them appropriately to the team members and also yourself for resolution.

You will provide advice and support to team members in completing tasks and ensure the timely completion of deliverables. You will also escalate any questions or issues to the Reval Operations Manager as needed.

You will effectively Estimate, Plan, Execute, Monitor and Control the resolution of tasks and deliverables. You will interact with the technical team for any related issue resolution and keep the Reval Operations Manager (NY) informed of factors affecting scheduled delivery.

You will handle customer requests and issues with tact and diplomacy and maintain a positive approach in handling them.

You will mentor the new and existing team members to understand the product and domain, as needed.

You will provide feedback to Reval Center Operations Manager (NY) on improvements to procedures and processes used to complete tasks.

Desired Candidate Profile:
You would be a full time MBA/PGDM from top MBA institute, with specialization in Finance. Not a constraint for excellent work experience.

You would have 7 to 10 years of experience in an operational financial services role including 2 years in a Team Lead role.

You must have a solid background in derivatives, treasury risk management and accounting. Knowledge of various derivatives products like Options, Swaps, Forwards, etc. for Interest Rate, Foreign Exchange or Commodity products is essential. Knowledge of derivative accounting and standards (FAS/IAS/CICA) for products mentioned above is a plus.

You should have Excellent Analytical, Problem Solving, Communication Skills, and People Management Skills and have exposure to working with International teams.

You should be a self-starter; focused and driven to succeed; result orientated. Organized and disciplined with ability to manage expectations (internal and external).

You would be an experienced professional working in an IT Consulting or Product company or a Bank performing the Customer Service role.
