Job Description:
Production support. Performs the Role of Service desk and technical desk.
To undertake and perform production support activities for a designated application/ a suite of products or applications.
o To ensure that all production related issues are handled in the ANZ specified production support procedures
o Responsible for ensuring agreed SLA's are achieved. Should exhibit judgement and decision making to escalate issues and risks to the relevant managers.
o Provide day to day support of all incidents, which includes:
- Recommend solutions for support related problems
- monitoring AHD Incident queues
- following the application’s incident management guidelines and processes
- escalate with other IT partners and
- communicate with customers / business areas on progress and closure.
o Good in participating the BCP/DRP activities of the said application suite
o Use coding skills to develop workaround scripts for the applications and reduce manual error and good turn around time.
o Ensures that all issues and risks are identified, reported and addressed in a timely manner.
o Ability to debug the code and find out the root cause of the critical issues.
o Provides first and second level support activities within applications, and provides technical assistance to other junior members of the support/help desk team.
o Understand existing applications and systems technically which to undertake maintenance and support.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or relevant experience consistent with ANZ policy.
Requires relevant technical work experience.
Requires basic knowledge of business operations and systems requirement processes.
Sound understanding of computer systems programming
Sound programming skills
Good understanding of system development lifecycle and systems operational matters in large scale computer operations environment
Good understanding of SDLC Process
Good Communication skills (both written and verbal)
Must possess proficient support knowledge and work independently.
Understanding the Database Structure:
Sybase (basic)
MS SQL (basic)
DB2/400 (Advanced)
Good in SQL, Unix scripting, MQ, CICS (MTP), ControlM, AS/400, RPG/400.
Banking domain related knowledge especially trade processing and settlements
Advanced programming skills, techniques, methodologies and languages
Knowledge of ANZ tools and procedures like AHD, Process Bank, change management, GIS etc.
Detailed knowledge of relevant IT system and application environment
Application and system knowledge of Custody and interface partner applications
Technical skills:
Sybase (Advanced)
Test Director (Basic).
