Detailed Description
    1. Aptitude and Skills assessment Flight training involves substantial investment of time, money and aspirations. A simple test can determine if the right skill sets exist in a person to take up this profession and if all the investment made does indeed result in a successful airline career. This test is recommended for all aspiring pilots. The compass test conducted on our campus is used as an assessment tool by major airlines and is thought to be the most successful for determining the aptitude and skill match for a pilot’s profession. This test takes about 2:30 hours and to register for this test a prior appointment is necessary. The test requires a relaxed state of mind and comprises tests of the following:

Control: a compensation task looking at basic hand/ foot/eye co-ordination.
Slalom: a tracking task looking at hand/eye co-ordination.
Mathematics: a test of basic applied mathematical understanding and speed.
Memory: Accuracy of short-term memory recall and ability to “chunk” information
Task Manager: A test of the candidate’s ability to scan the screen and manage concurrent tasks accurately and quickly.
Orientation: Instrument interpretation, comprehension and spatial orientation
    Technical test
The cost of the assessment is Rs 5000+Tax(618) and to register for an appointment download Registration Form and mail it to manish@unitedaviation.in

    2. Class I/II Medical
The medical examination is the next most critical aspect that must be accomplished prior to commencement of training and investment of time and money. We conduct a Class II medical as prescribed by the DGCA along with necessary tests as determined by our Medical team to ensure the student meets the required medical standards. The Class I medical is the next process and It is desirable that it is conducted at the earliest possible. Our objective in the Class II medical is to ensure that there are no surprises in the Class I medical.
To register for the Class II medical examination, please fill the Registration Form attached and mail it to manish@unitedaviation.in

4.Flight Training The environment for flight training in India is undergoing a transitory phase and at present does not present a good learning environment to bring out the best in aspiring students. For this reason we conduct Flight Training in busy airfields in the USA and in Canada to ensure that the quality of flight instruction and the environment for training is most conducive to learning to meet modern day challenges. We select our training partners with careful consideration to many factors including company background, quality and experience of instructors, training curriculum, fleet maintenance, and living environment. At present we have four partners that we outsource flight training to. These are:

Sabena Airline Training Centre
Professional flight centre
Wings Aloft
Victoria Flight School
At these schools our students receive quality instruction in a time bound manner and achieve a Commercial Pilot’s License with a multi engine IFR rating. With the training provided by our partners our students are suitably equipped to transition onto the next stage of training with an airline. Upon return to India the students undertake necessary examinations for conversion of foreign license to a DGCA license.
To register only for flight training with us click here

5.Preparation for Airline Selection (PAS) The training received to attain a Commercial Pilot’s License is focused on attaining a flying license and does not guarantee success in an airline selection process. The selection process of each airline is different and the knowledge that is sought for entry is not offered during the training received to attain a flying license. Many job aspirants nearly make it through a selection process but have to live with the failure if unsuccessful. Most airlines also have a cooling period before they offer a second chance for a failed candidate which makes it vital to succeed in the first attempt. PAS is a course that will make a difference to your ability to perform in an airline selection process. It is designed to prepare students with the knowledge that is necessary to be prepared for an airline selection. The course commences in the first week of every month. To register for the PAS course, click here

To convert a foreign license it is necessary to clear an examination for license conversion conducted by the DGCA. At United Aviation we provide intense training for the examination for conversion of license. The objective of this training is to enhance the performance of the trainee to clear examinations in the shortest possible time and to upgrade the trainee to examination mode. The training commences in the first week of March, June, September and December and continues till the examination. Students desirous of extended classes can enroll for our regular batch and then migrate to the license conversion course. In such a case you should call our student administrators at the training centre and enroll for the extended LCT course.

    ALTP Classes
In order to upgrade from a First Officer to a Captain, it is necessary to upgrade a Commercial Pilot’s License to an Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL). In order to do so it is necessary to clear exams held quarterly by the DGCA for which professional training is desirable and in many instances a must. This is essentially the last time a person undertakes a programmed instruction course in aviation general subjects. Courses commence approx. 6 weeks before each DGCA exam
