Test Lead Base24
Exp – 5-8yrs
looking at Base24 Testing profiles only (Specifically on POS/Terminal)

Desired Candidate Profile:
Undertakes tasks independently or as part of a team related to the testing of application programs that includes involvement in test planning, testing execution and reporting.

Major Responsibility Area –
* Manual test expert with Terminal Certification knowledge. Automation experience is an added skill set.
* Conducts analysis on application requirements documentation to design test conditions and test cases.
* Strong knowledge in Terminal Certification
* Ensures test documentation and deliverables are consistent with team standards.
* Leads the preparation and execution of testing phases.
* Plans estimates and schedules tasks related to the testing of an application.
* Communicates testing concepts and techniques and leads test results analysis.
* Ensures all issues and risks are identified and reported.
* Ensures quality technical solutions are developed that meet functional and business requirements.
* Contributes and initiates improvement initiatives to internal processes and work practices.
* Identifies the conditions that create errors to occur and escalates outstanding issues for clarification and resolution.
* Provides consolidated test reports including testing signoff.
* Provides assistance and on-the-job training to less experienced test analysts.
* Basic automation knowledge.

Essential Experience Profile
* Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience
* Prepare documents like Test Strategy,MTP,DTP, Entry and Exit Criteria check lists,TSR and CAM.
* Provide on the job training to less experienced Testers.
* Work independently or as a member of a team on a major project.
* Experience with a variety of testing tools and techniques to undertake major projects and perform complex testing procedures.
* Manage own time and that of assigned testers
* Provide mentoring and guidance to junior staff in testing competency

Demonstrates knowledge of Quality Center.
Demonstrates knowledge of FINSim test tool
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of Base24
Demonstrates knowledge of TACL commands
Demonstrates knowledge of Peruse
Demonstrates knowledge of VTS
Demonstrates knowledge of Enform
Demonstrates knowledge of NCPCOM
Demonstrates knowledge of TMS (Terminal management system) and JIRA (Bug tracking tool used by vendor).
Ability to report and/or analyse AHD

Ability to do testing:
Participates in the review of documentation and provides guidance in the development of basic test scripts
Participates in identifying and documenting test data requirements
Provides guidance in the execution of test scripts and documents results
Provides guidance to plan and build test environment requirements Ability to develop Test type coverage matrix
Ability to develop Test conditions from requirements documentation
Provide guidance to develop Test Scripts from test conditions
Ability to define appropriate test data for test cases
Ability to follow test scripts to perform test execution
Ability to isolate and identify defect during test execution
Ability to accurately report test case failure through defect reporting
Ability to identify and report to the BA the most critical defects to testing progress
Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis on the reported defects
Tracing of high level requirements to test cases
Clear concise and accurate reporting of defects to development
Ability to generate automated test scripts from test conditions already defined
Ability to analyse the results of an automated execution run to verify and debug

Process and policies:
Understanding of Core release project development/testing process
Ability to arrive at realistic estimates for the test project
Ability to develop a realistic schedule for the test project
Ability to define and collect, appropriate metrics and measurements to accurately reflect and report test activities
Ability to accurately report test progress to other parties
Ability to assess project risks and define mitigation and monitoring acitivities
Ability to develop activity to resolve or reduce affect of deviance from test plan
