1. As an Innovative Teacher
I am an experienced teacher in Islamic studies. I have handled classes for various classes including students of Higher Secondary level. I follow innovative methods in my classes. I taught Islamiyat subject – IGCSE, for O level students for one year in 2007-08.

2. As a Facilitator in Human Resource Development:
“People are mines”, says Prophet Muhammad (SAW). People are like treasure troves and mines. Every human being has been endowed with some or the other inner potentials and talents. It is highly essential for us to identify the hidden potentials of our children and develop those inner resources to bring them up as excellent Muslims. It is to this effect I have been conducting Islamic personality development courses for students.
These courses will be conducted in an experiential learning methodology. I have been in the process of Islamizing the whole spectrum of Human Resource Development since 2002.
I can train Muslim teachers, Arabic college students and young Islamic scholars - on how to teach Islam with new methods.

3. As a Student Counsellor:
I have been counselling students since 2000-01. My methodology is about building a strong self esteem in students. I do SWOT analysis for students individually to understand their personality first, and deal with their problems like – poor self esteem, lack of interest, impulsiveness, instant gratification, fear and anxiety, pessimism etc., and finally counselling is provided with an Islamic perspective. I have influenced quite a number of young Muslims both intellectually and spiritually. I do parenting counselling too.
Also, I used to help students who face public examinations. Concepts like time management, everyday study plan, study with FLOW (self forgetfulness), going beyond the class room, learn from mistakes, overcoming stress and anxiety before the examinations, memory techniques, etc., are discussed in sessions on “How to excel in examinations?”
Finally, a word about overcoming one’s weaknesses. Human weaknesses include – impulsiveness, pessimism, fear and anxiety, emotional upset, etc., Whatever may be the amount of one’s talents and strengths, one cannot attain success unless he/she deals with his/her own weaknesses and overcome them. Students by themselves cannot overcome their weaknesses. Hence, the importance of individual counselling. I sincerely do this, because I love children!
