Job Description:
THIS IS A PART TIME JOB FUNCTION.
The Candidate will have to translate correspondence & e-mails from FRENCH to ENGLISH , or vice versa.
The Candidate will have to teach elementary french language to the MD of the company.
In rare case of need, the candidate should be ready to travel for a couple of days, along with the MD of the company within India or Abroad.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Candidate should be fluent in spoken and written English & French Language. Knowledge of Technical Terms will be an added advantage.
Candidate should be ready to work on Part Time Basis and should be ready to travel, in rare case of need, within India or Abroad. Must have a valid Indian Passport

Dear Sir,

Coming from a family of Administrative officials, professionals and academicians; dedication, honesty and integrity is in my blood. I have just completed MA in French Literature from JNU, Delhi. I have written my MA dissertation on “Francoise Dolto - l'humanisation de l'enfant”. Dolto is a Freudian, French psychoanalyst who worked exclusively for children and their development & education. She was a counsellor to parents and teachers.

Earlier, I did M.Phil in Political Science and have taught at School and College levels. My husband has been teaching Chemistry (Class XII) at DPS, RK Puram, New Delhi since 1996.

Consistently maintaining a brilliant academic record, I was awarded the National Talent Search Scholarship (NTSE) through National Council of Educational Research and Training [N.C.E.R.T], New Delhi, from class Xth to M.Phil. [1985–1993]. I have also qualified the Junior Research Fellow and National Eligibility Test for Lectureship [JRF & NET] conducted by university grants commission [U.G.C] as well as the State Level Eligibility Test [S.L.E.T] for lecturers conducted by Rajasthan Public service commission [R.P.S.C], Ajmer.

I was appointed as Lecturer (re-designated as Assistant Professor) in Political Science through R.P.S.C. in 1995. I taught graduate and post-graduate students but resigned for the sake of family reunion in 2001.

Earlier, from Aug. 1993 to Dec. 1993, I had worked at Motilal Nehru School of Sports [M.N.S.S], Rai (Govt of Haryana) as ad-hoc History/Political Science teacher in the grade of Lecturer.

While my kids were small I did some freelancing with Birla Sun Life Insurance Company as a Financial Advisor. My responsibilities included not only to bring new business for the company but also to develop public relations. I also had to liaison with the Branch Office in New Delhi and Head Office in Mumbai as also with hospitals and clinical labs to conduct medical tests. This assignment enhanced my knowledge in financial products, as I advised clients on tax-saving instruments after looking into their financial statements and income-tax liabilities vis à vis their family responsibilities. It also offered me an opportunity to meet High Net worth Individuals and thereby enhance my communication and inter-personal skills. All this took my confidence to great heights. At the same time, I learnt the techniques of multi-tasking, time management and conflict resolution.

I started learning French language in 2005 at Alliance Française to be able to effectively aid my son in his school projects. Since then, I fell in love with French, did Diploma, continued and completed Post Graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru University [JNU], from School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies. Now, I would like to teach French.

I have also studied psychology - social, behavioural, educational, child and abnormal - for Bachelor’s degree. This has been an immense help for an in-depth understanding and analysis of human behaviour. I can comprehend students’ perceptions, motivations, desires and defence mechanisms and how these affect their behaviour in day-to-day life. I have a natural intuition to analyze and strike at the root of the problem, then solve it. Perceiving a problem in totality does make a difference.

Multi-tasking has been a key to my survival. Accepting challenges, willingness to take risks and exploring new avenues is my way of looking at life. I am enthusiastic, self-motivated and a positive thinker. I love adventure and am ready to take on the world with a new vigour and maturity acquired all these years. What ever assignments I undertook; I have completed them all with utmost sincerity, honesty and hard work. For me, “Work is worship”.
