Writing:
Research and write compelling, accurate and original industry projects and news articles for SPG Media’s range of industry websites. Meet content targets as set out in the Web Content Plan.
Research:
Generate content ideas and source top-class contributors through desk research, market analysis and networking. Understand the needs of each website’s readership.
Teamwork:
Operate effectively with the UK editorial team, delivering copy to respect their requirements and deadlines.
Management reporting:
Provide the Practice Head and Senior Editors with accurate information, as requested, in a timely and professional manner.
Key functional responsibilities:
Research and write compelling, accurate and original content for our market-leading business-to-business websites.
Produce industry projects on the required topics and to the required format.
Produce news articles on the required topics and to the required format.
Achieve the highest standards possible in all editorial output. Meet all deadlines.
Find key information from reliable sources. Ensure all online content is timely, accurate and relevant to its audience.
Prior to publication, check all information for accuracy, verifying it directly with people or companies involved in the project work.
Build productive relationships with industry contacts.
Build specialist knowledge in the industry sectors covered by SPG Media’s websites and use it to identify significant industry developments and create original content.
