    Job Description:
    Under the general technical and administrative supervision of the Deputy Director General (DDG-TB), MoH&FW, GoI and WHO India, key responsibilities of the FC shall include the following:

    (1) Assisting in financial monitoring of RNTCP programme, which involves
    a) Tracking of statements of quarterly expenditure for all the districts in India;
    b) Assisting in the release of funds and tracking of expenditure;
    c) Assisting in central level expenditure tracking and claims from the World Bank and GFATM in timely manner
    d) Tracking the claims made to World Bank, GFTAM and other donors;
    e) Assisting the Ministry of Health and Family welfare, Government of India, in making the claims as per the World bank, GFTAM and other donor format;
    f) Monitoring donor wise status of funds received and expenditure incurred and preparing reports for the various donors as per their requirements.
    (2) Preparing Project Implementation Plans for various donors/funding agencies.
    (3) Assisting CTD in capacity building of the states in Financial Management including the development of training modules and material and facilitating training programmes.
    (4) Assisting CTD in coordination with the NRHM financial management units.
    (5) Assisting CTD in coordinating with States in order to provide replies to the queries of the World Bank and the GFATM, and respond to issues arising from audits.
    (6) Performing any other duties assigned including allocation of funds based on requirements at different project societies; training to district personnel on reporting under the new financial information system; training to RNTCP medical Consultants on the financial aspects of the programmes, etc.
    (7) Providing end of assignment report directly to the WHO Representative to India, in case the contract is not extended further;
    (8) Assisting with the preparation of MIS reports
    (9) Consolidating the financial statements from different states for donor reporting.

    The candidate selected shall be on the payroll of a third party HR Consultancy on a fixed term contract initially for a period of one year, extendable on the basis of satisfactory performance.

    Desired Candidate Profile:
    Qualifications and Experience:

    (1) CA/ ICWA/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent. Members of a recognized Accounts Service e.g. Indian Audit & Accounts Services, Indian Civil Accounts Services, Indian Railway Accounts Services or Indian Defence Accounts Service, shall be eligible to apply
    (2) Minimum five years of experience
    (3) At least two years of senior level experience in the finance and accounts function with Government Departments/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Corporate Sector
    (4) Good knowledge of computers.
