Airline Induction Programme
Acumen helps all students in appearing for the Airline Induction Programme. The requirements for the Airline Induction Prgramme varies from company to company.

General Procedures are :
» Written Examination having Navigation, Regulation and strong focus on Technical questions.
» Post the written examination there is generally a Psychometric test that is conducted.
» After the psychometric test has been cleared the Airline tends to undertake a Interview having Captains and HR Personnel on the panel.

JOB DESCRIPTION :
Conduct HSE Induction(s) for the newly hired employees including subcontractors.
Arrange the Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), sign board, and fire fighting materials.
Conduct safety tool box talks in the site.
Conduct weekly tool box meeting for all site personnel & sub-contractors in the site.
Ensure the maintenance of a high standard of housekeeping at all times in the job site.
Ensure that sub-contractors operate in a safe manner and comply with the project safety policy.
Prepare and submit the daily / weekly / monthly HSE report.
Conduct investigation for site accidents and analysis of the causes and associated preventive actions to be taken.
Regularly visiting all construction areas of the project. and conduct the random HSE audits & inspections on the job site & maintain safety record results.
Ensure the risk assessments & methods of statements have been carried out for work activities.
Ensure the use of the correct tools and equipment for the job.
Attend the various safety meetings, including those conducted by the Client, to ensure sufficient and effective interchange of information of health, safety and environment.
Stop any activity that has been conducted in unsafe manner.
Penalize the personnel involved in the safety misconduct.
Compile and maintain the records of the HSE statistics, first aid registers, MSDS, test certificates and all type of heavy equipment and valid driving license of operators.
Liaise with department and clients in controlling the permit to work (PTW) systems for hot works, confined space and excavations and ensure all safety precautions are followed in the site.
Conduct emergency evacuation drill, fire fighting & etc. in the job site.
Check and maintain the good conditions of welfare facilities in the site.
Technical skill : MS-CIT, Ms Office, operating system (Windows 95, 98, 2000, XP and Dos).
Hobbies : Cricket, reading book, football and Chess.
