I. GOA MEDICAL COLLEGE :
1.Name of the post : Lecturer in Ophthalmology

Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Post Graduate degree qualification in the speciality concerned or equivalent.
(iii) At least 3 years teaching experience in the concerned speciality as Senior Resident/Registrar/Tutor/Demonstrator in a Medical College/Teaching Institution.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.

2.Name of the post : Assistant Lecturer in Neurology

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-
Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub- section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable :
(i) Registered for Post-Graduate Degree in concerned speciality.
(ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

II. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES :
3.Name of the post : Senior Orthopaedic Surgeon

Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Post Graduate Degree, failing which postgraduate diploma, in speciality concerned.
(iii) Work in a responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 3 years after post-graduation Degree or five years after post-graduation Diploma.
(iv)Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable : Knowledge of Marathi.

4.Name of the post : Senior Psychiatrist

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in Sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
(ii) Post Graduate Degree in speciality concerned.
(iii) 3 years work in a responsible position connected with their speciality after post-graduation Degree.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

III. LABOUR DEPARTMENT :
5. Name of the post : Insurance Medical Officer (ESI)

Scale of Pay : Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-
Age : Not exceeding 40 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications :
Essential :
(i) A Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in Section 13 (3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or degree of Goa Medical School (Medico Cirurgiao).
(ii) Completion of compulsory rotatory internship.
(iii) At least 3 years experience in the Administration of Medical Care.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable :
(i) Experience in the general Medicine Practice.
(ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
