Eligible candidates are invited to attend a WALK-IN-INTERVIEW on 9th September 2014 dates at 9.30 A.M. sharp for the following posts on the ad hoc research project entitled “Tackling agriculture nutrition disconnect in India – Phase II” funded by the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. The Interview will be held at Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Agamkuan, Patna 800007. The essential qualification, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under;

1. Name of the post: Scientist -C

Essential Qualifications : Ph.D. (Agricultural disciplines/Nutrition/Sociology/Population Development studies) + Two years experience of carrying out community surveys.
Desirable : 3-5 years experience of conducting surveys on agriculture or nutrition.
Age : Below 40 years.
Consolidated Salary : Rs.44,400/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.
Tenure : 1 year

2 Name of the post : Research Assistant
No. of post : 8 Posts. (UR-5, SC-1, OBC-2)
Date of Interview: 10th September, 2014
Essential Qualifications : M.A. or M.Sc. in following disciplines: Nutrition/ Home Science/Agricultural disciplines/ Sociology/Anthropology/Economics from recognized University.
Desirable : 2 years experience of conducting surveys on agriculture or nutrition
Age : Below 30 Years
Consolidated Salary : Rs.27,000/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.
Tenure : 1 year

3 Name of the post : Field Attendants

Essential Qualifications : 10th Class pass and knowledge of Hindi
Desirable : Minimum one year experience with survey on agriculture or nutrition.
Age : Below 28 years.
Consolidated Salary : Rs.12,600/- p.m. (fixed) without any allowances.
Tenure : 1 year

How to Apply :
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a passport-size photograph and one set of photo copies of all certificates duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview. Mark-sheets will not be considered as proof of educational qualification. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the O.B.C. (Non creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective concerned Tehsildar/ M.R.O. specifically issued within past 3 years for the purpose of applying for Central Government post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interviews/ written test.

General Conditions: The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. Age Relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates will be allowed as per the G.O.I Rules. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute.
