RECRUITMENT OF MALE CONSTABLES IN HARYANA POLICE.

Online applications are invited in the prescribed performa through website from eligible candidates for the posts of male constables detailed in para l below. The applications will be filled up to 18.09.20l4 till 5:00 PM after which the link will be disabled. The candidates are advised to apply online well in time without waiting for last date of submission of online application. No offline application form or copy of downloaded application form will be accepted by this office. The printout of online application form and e-challan as a proof of fee deposited by the candidate will be brought along with original certificates for verification at the time of physical measurement and physical efficiency tests.

4. Eligibility:
“Nationality, domicile and character of the candidates.
i) No person shall be appointed to the post of constable in Haryana Police, unless he is
(a) a citizen of India or
(b) a subject of Nepal; or
(C) a subject of Bhutan; or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January , 1962, with the
intention of permanently settling in India ; or
a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Shri Lanka or any of the East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania {Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zabia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethopia with the intention of permanently settling in India :
Provided that a person belonging to any of the categories (b), (c) (d) or (e) shall be person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt" Character Certificate The candidates are required to produce a certificate of character from the Principal Academic Officer of the University, College, School or Institution last attended.

Minimum Educational Qualification:
For post of Male Constable [General Duty): 10+2 for all categories.

For post of Male Constable (Wireless Operator) :
ln Telecom Wing of Haryana Police; Two years certificate from ITl in Electronics/Computer/Telecommunication with minimum 60% marks.
Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or Higher Qualification.

Age limits :
Lower-18 years
Upper-25 years
Note:
For SC/BC/SBC candidates relaxation in upper age limit of 5 years shall be available;
For Ex-Servicemen candidates: Upper age limit is 40 years plus continuous military service added by three years. The break in service between the date of discharge and between 151 day of the month in which enrollment process is started shall not exceed four years.

Physical Standard:
(i) Height-Minimum 5' - 7"
(ii) Chest-Unexpanded - Minimum 33"
Expanded - Minimum 34 1/2 (Minimum expansion of one and half inch)
[Note - Relaxation in Physical Standard to the extent of one inch in height and one inch in chest will be available to the candidates belonging to Ex-Serviceman, Scheduled Caste and Backward Class categories.

How to Apply Online:
i) The candidates should visit website www.hprbonline.com or www.hprbonline.in after applying online a registration No. of candidate and ID No. will be generated.

ii) Take printout of registration No and ID No. for future reference to application and for reprinting of online filled application form and e-challan form.

iii) The candidate should deposit fee in any branch of State Bank of Patiala after 48 hours of filling online application and e-challan generation and within the date as indicated in the Bank e-challan.

Interview: The candidates securing minimum qualifying marks (15) in Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will only be called for interview.

General:
A candidate against whom a criminal case stands registered and is under investigation or pending trial or who has been convicted by a Court of Law need not apply.
A person having less than the prescribed height & chest measurement or with any physical deformity need not apply.
If a candidate makes more than one application for the particular category, candidature will be cancelled
Merit list will be drawn on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in PET and Interview.
Final Selection of candidates shall be made in order of merit of each of the respective category.
Candidates will have to appear for selection at their own expense No TA/DA will be admissible. They should also make their own arrangement for stay during the selection.
Candidate shall be appearing for the PET at their own risk. The Govt. shall not be responsible for any loss or injury caused during the test.
The Haryana Police Recruitment Board has full right to make changes and constitute additional District Level Police Recruitment Committees for Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Test or cancel or postpone the recruitment on administrative grounds or in the public interest
Candidates canvassing in any term will be disqualified from appearing in the test or for final selection.
Incomplete or unsigned application forms will summarily be rejected.
