FOR ADMISSION TO POST GRADUATE MEDICAL SUPER SPECIALTY COURSES

THE PROCESS INVOLVES THE FOLLOWING STAGES:
1. Submission of the application form for JSSU-SSET – 2014 entrance test by post or in person along with enclosures on or before 14.07.2014 at 5.00 pm.
2. The application should be accompanied by a DD for Rs. 5,000/- drawn in favour of “JSS UNIVERSITY FEE ACCOUNT” payable at Mysore.
3. The JSSU SSET 2014 date of entrance test / Date of counseling / admission process will be announced in the website
4. The JSSU-SSET – 2014 entrance test will be conducted in MYSORE only.

Rules of Admission :
** Admission will be made in accordance with the admission policy of JSS University, which has been framed as per the guidelines laid down by MCI and UGC.
** Admission will be based on JSSU-SSET-2014 merit.

JSSU SSET 2014 Merit:
a) Students will be admitted to super specialty courses in the constituent college of JSS University, JSS Medical College, Mysore, on the basis of the rank obtained by them in the JSSU – SSET -2014 entrance test.
** 15% of total seats are reserved for NRI / Foreign / PIO.
** 5% of the seats are reserved for Institutional preference*
b) *Admission of the students will be on 'Inter-se' merit of JSSU-SSET-2014.
c) Decision of the authorities of JSS University in case of disputes will be final.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:
** A candidate desirous of appearing in the JSSU SSET – 2014 entrance test for Post Graduate super specialty Course is required to download the prescribed application form from our website; .
** Duly filled application form along with DD and relevant enclosures, should be sent to the “Registrar, JSS University, Sri Shivarathreeshwara Nagar Mysore - 570015” and submitted to the University office on or before 14.07.2014 by 5:00pm

CHECKLIST OF THE DOCUMENTS TO ACCOMPANY THE COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM :
1. Demand Draft for Rs 5000/- drawn in favour of The “JSS University Fee Account, Mysore,” payable at Mysore. (Write your full name on the back of DD). Check for the banker's signature on the DD.

PHOTOCOPIES OF FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS ATTESTED BY A GAZETTED OFFICER SHOULD BE SUBMITTED:
2. SSLC/SSC/10th class Certificate
3. Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority if SSLC/SSC certificate does not contain proof of date of birth.
4. PUC-II or 12th Standard or equivalent marks card.
5. Degree Certificate/Provisional Degree Certificate of qualifying degree (UG & PG).
6. Registration Certificates UG & PG
7. Attempt Certificates UG & PG.
8. MD General Medicine/MD Pediatrics Marks card and Marks Cards of MBBS course from 1st year to final year including marks cards of failed examinations.
9. The certificate issued by competent authority for candidates claiming lower eligibility under SC / ST / OBC.
10. Six recent, identical passport-size colour photographs with name and date.( In addition one copy of the photo should be pasted on the application form in the space provided)
11. Conduct certificate.
12. Migration Certificate.
13. Proof of MCI recognition of the college from where student has completed the course.
14. Attested Copy of the Photo identity issued by Central / State Government (e.g. passport/voters card/pan card/driving license)

NOTE :
Ensure that enclosed photographs provided are identical, sharp, clear in colour and clarity, and should not be more than 6 months old. Individuals who use spectacles should take photograph with spectacles. Use of goggles, caps , masks are not acceptable in photograph except for the turban in case of Sikh male. Application with smudged / tampered or hazy photograph will be rejected. Any application not adhering to these specifications will be rejected without any notification and no refund of the application fees will be made. The decision of the University in this matter will be final.

The completed Application Form should reach JSS University office either in person / post / courier, on or before 5:00 pm of 14.07. 2014 below mentioned University address.
