Applications are invited from eligible Male candidates for recruitment through Open advertisement for the posts in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1800/- against Sports Quota for the year 2014-15 in “Carriage & Wagon Shops, Jagadhri Workshop of Northern Railway “ in the following discipline

Minimum Sports Achievements required for Foot Ball /Volley Ball: The applicant must have
a) Represented the Country in any of the following Championships/events;
i) Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category)
ii) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)
iii) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category) OR
b) Obtained at least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category). OR
c) Represented a State or equivalent Unit, in Senior/Junior National Championships. OR
d) Obtained at least 3rd Position in Senior State Championship for all Units and District of the State or above.
Minimum Sports achievements required for Table Tennis :
a) Senior Group Singles- Upto-16th Position.
b) Senior Group Double- Upto-06th Position
c) Youth Group Singles- Upto-08th Position.
d) Junior Group Singles- Upto-08th Position. OR
Any higher achievement except mentioned above
Age Limit: Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 30.06.2014.
Proof of age:- Matriculation Certificate issued by Education Board or equivalent
Minimum Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed MATRICULATION OR ITS EQUIVELENT from a Government Recognized School. No relaxation in the minimum educational qualification shall be permissible.
Examination Fee: UR & OBC candidates must enclose an Indian Postal Order or Demand Draft having issued between 01.06.14 to 30.06.2014 of Rs. 40/- as processing charges in favour of Workshop Sports Officer, Jagadhri Workshop Payable at Jagadhri Workshop. SC/ST/Muslims/Christians/Sikh/Budhhists/Zorastrians(Parsis) candidates need shall not be required to pay any fee, but certificate belonging to concerned community must be attached for fee exemption, otherwise application will be rejected without fee of Rs. 40/-.

ii) Applications completed in all respect should reach on or before 30.06.2014 through POST in a cover addressed to;

Enclosures:
The following enclosures should be firmly attached along with the completed application form. (If the certificates are of a language other than English/Hindi, attested translation in English/Hindi should also be enclosed)
a) Self attested copy of certificate in proof of academic qualification(Minimu. Matric or Equivelent).
b) Self attested copy of Certificate in proof of Date of Birth (Matric Certificate or equivelent).
c) Self attested copies of Certificates in proof of Sports achievements.
d) Self attested copy of community certificate issued by competent authority on prescribed format in case of SC/ST/Muslims/Christians/Sikh/Budhhists/Zorastrians(Parsis) candidates
e) Crossed Indian Postal Orders/Demand draft as detailed in Para 5) above (except the candidates who are exempted from payment of examination fees).
