MBA-MCA Entrance Test 2014 :
PROGRAMME DELAILS for MCA :
1. Programme Name : Master of Computer Application (MCA)
2. Programme Duration (In Yrs): Minimum: 3 maximum: 6
3. Re-registration : Only for one year after six years maximum duration
4. Nature of programme : Semester System

ADMISSION PROCESS:
5. Eligibility for Admission: 3 Year Bachelor Degree in any discipline with math’s at 10+2 or 6 months Computer Course
6. Admission Procedure: The admission to MCA programme can be taken through Entrance Test which is to be held with MBA entrance test - twice every year (January Session and July Session) “The candidates who have passed PGDCA from UPRTOU Allahabad may apply for lateral entry into the III semester provided that they have qualified entrance test for the same as per the instructions given in the brochure on university website (uprtou.ac.in).”

The Fee of the MBA-MCA July 2014 Entrance Test is Rs 500/= ( Rs. Five Hundred Only) which has to be deposited through Bank Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank in favour of, The Finance Officer, U P R T O U, payable at Allahabad and to be enclosed with MBA-MCA Entrance Test 2014 application form.

The candidates after qualifying the MBA-MCA Entrance Test 2014, will have to fill an admission form available at the respective study centers to take admission to MBA program and they have to deposit the Program Fee of Rs 15000/- (Rs. Fifteen Thousand only) for MBA and Rs. 13700/- (Rs Thirteen Thousand Seven Hundred only) for MCA along with this application form through a demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, U P Rajarshi Tandon Open University, payable at Allahabad, for the first year and later on every year as per program duration.

The last date for submitting the completed application form is 20 August 2014. The complete application form must be reached to the following address through the registered mail/ Speed Post.

In the Exam Center box at point no. 1 you have to write name of the city. For Example; Write Allahabad in the given box for choosing test center at Allahabad.

The exam shall be conducted at following cities. i. Allahabad ii. Bareilly iii. Lucknow iv. Meerut v. Varanasi (Test centers shall be given on website: www.uprtou.ac.in later on.)

Write the name of the degree of UG and PG Level and the percentage at point no. 13 of the admission form. For Example:-B.Sc.(Honours), 70%

Write your complete and correct address for Correspondence as well as Permanent Address on point no 14 and 18.

The candidates have to enclose the experience certificate along with this application form as per rule no 2 of the Rules to Admission for MBA Program.

Attach photocopies of all the certificates and mark sheets showing the qualification, Experience (as the case may be) and date of birth of the candidate.

The candidates have to take the admit card portion from the given downloaded form only and have to produce with completely filled entries and a self signed recent photograph at the exam center. No separate Admit Card shall be issued to any Candidates. The Candidates can note down their Roll Numbers from the website. Candidates have to bring two passport size photographs at the study centers for the use of their verification.

The verification card has to be sent by the candidate along with the Form to the University at the address mentioned on the top of the Form.

Candidates are required to write their correct e-mail addresses and mobile telephone numbers in the given space without any fail.

The candidates who have appeared in the entrance tests for the similar programs (MBA/MCA) conducted by IGNOU/ AIMA / IIMs / UPTU etc. within a year need not to appear in MBA MCA Entrance Test of UPRTOU Allahabad, provided they have secured 40% marks in such examination.

The candidates belonging to this category may take admission up to 15 September 2014 with the fulfillment of the given conditions.

Such candidates will have to fill the Form with Admission Fee of Rs. 300/- Only ( Rs. Three Hundred Only) through a demand draft favouring, Finance Officer, U P Rajarshi Tandon Open University payable at Allahabad. This Form is required to be sent to, Director, School of Management Studies, UPRTOU, Sector ‘F’ Shantipuram, Phaphamau, Allahabad 211013.

Attach photocopies of all the certificates and mark sheets showing the qualifications, Experience (as the case may be) and date of birth of the candidate along with the Form.

These candidates after submitting the Form along with their respective scores (Minimum 40%) obtained from other Tests conducted by IGNOU /IIMs /AIMA / UPTU etc shall be informed by the university to take admission at their preferred study center provided they possess the eligibility conditions given as under. Their scores (Minimum 40%) shall be valid within a year of the present session.

i. Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for the general category candidates and 45% marks for the reserve category candidates i.e.SC/ST class candidates (as declared by the State Govt. from time to time)

Bachelor degree with 3 years of Supervisory/ Managerial/ Professional/ Working Experience.

ii. Clearance of Entrance Test conducted by U P Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad (Clearance means securing 40% marks in MAT-RTOU)
