ADMISSION NOTIFICATION 2013-14
NIEPMD invites applications from candidates for admission to the following courses recognized by the RCI, Govt of India for the academic year 2013-14.

1 Course : B.Ed – Special Education (Multiple Disabilities)
Duration of the course : 1 year
No of seats : 20
Eligibility :
i) A Bachelor Degree from an UGC approved University in any of the Secondary School subjects in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 with minimum marks of (OC – 50%, BC – 45%, MBC/DNC – 43%, SC/ST – 40%) Or
ii) PG Degree in Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture from an UGC approved University with minimum marks of 50%

2 Course : PG Diploma in Early Intervention
Duration of the course : 1 year
No of seats : 15
Eligibility : MBBS, BMR or BRS(MR), B.Ed in Special Education, Bachelors in OT, PT, BASLP, Masters in Child Psychology, Masters in Child Development with 50% aggregate marks and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates
Age: Not exceeding 35 years

3 Course : PG Diploma in Developmental Therapy (MD:Physical & Neurological)
Duration of the course : 1 year & 3 months
No of seats : 25
Eligibility : Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science, Life Science, Paramedical Science with 50% marks from a recognized university. OR
Any Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks and an allied course in the field of disability rehabilitation or at least one year hands on experience in working with persons with disability and their families or OR
Master’s degree in Child Development , Social Work

4 Course : Diploma in Education - Special Education (Deaf blindness)
Duration of the course : 2 years
No of seats : 31
Eligibility : A pass in 10+2 /H.Sc / Intermediate with 50% of marks

5 Course : Diploma in Education - Special Education (Cerebral Palsy)
Duration of the course : 2 years
No of seats : 31
Eligibility : A pass in 10+2 /H.Sc / Intermediate

6 Course : Diploma in Education Special Education (Autism Spectrum Disorders)
Duration of the course : 2 years
No of seats : 31
Eligibility : A pass in 10+2 /H.Sc / Intermediate

Fee :

Si.No.4,5,6 : Rs.300/- (Rs.200 for SC/ST/PH)
