DOWNLOAD DAIICT 2013 INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES:
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :
 ** You are going to take a computer based Test at a workstation.
 ** You are required to report to the examination centre 30 minutes before the starting time of the test.
 ** Ensure that you paste your two recent passport sized photographs (both should be same) in the boxes provided in the admit card and self attest it.
** Ensure that you bring any one of the identity proof : Passport or Voter ID or Adhar Card or PAN Card or Driving Licence or College ID, in original.
** On reporting to the test centre, you will be registered, photograph captured, assigned to a particular workstation. The proctors will guide you to the respective computer lab and workstation.
** Do not carry any of your belongings except pencils & pens to the workstation where you are expected to take the test.
** Calculators, cellular phones and any other electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the examination hall.
** For working purpose one sheet of paper will be provided at the workstation. No additional material will be given for rough work purposes.
** The administrator is authorized to dismiss you from the test session for any of the following reasons:
Creating disturbance.
Attempting to take the test on behalf of someone else.
Talking to other test taker/s.
Attempting to tamper with the computer system – either hardware or software.
Use of calculators, slide rules, cell phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or any other material that may aid in answering questions.

TIMING & BREAKS :
** The test you are taking is the Computer Based Test is of 90 minutes duration.
** No break is permitted while taking the test.

INFORMATION ON THE TEST :
Computer Based Test you are about to take has 60 Questions of 4 marks each and the total time allowed is 90 minutes. The distribution of questions is:
Questions 1 to 36: Mathematics, Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning - 36 questions.
Questions 37-48 : C Programming - 12 questions.
Questions 49-60 : English Comprehension - 12 questions.

Testing procedure :
** The questions will appear in English.
** Every question is followed by 5 answer options. Choose the option that is most appropriate. Indicate your answer by clicking on the circle adjacent to the option you think is right.
** You can go to any question directly by clicking on the question number, which will appear at the bottom of the screen. The answered question number will be marked Green and the unanswered/ skipped question number will remain in blue.
** If you are doubtful of the answer, you can mark a question which is indicated with an arrow mark below the question number. Once you come back to the same question at a later time and click on the unmark review button the question will be unmarked.
** If you want to change your answer to any question, you may select the question and change the answer by clicking on the appropriate answer.
** Each right answer will fetch 4 marks.
** There is negative marking. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
** The test closes automatically once the allotted time of 90 Minutes is over.
** In case you finish your test before allotted time, you will get a confirmation page which will give you two options. Either to go back to the test or to complete the test.
** In case you want to review the answers in the remaining time you can do so, else you may complete the test and submit. Ensure that you click on submit as a sign of completion.
** Once you complete the test, you will get a “Thank you for taking the test” screen.
** Ensure that the lower portion of the admit card has been collected by the proctor.
** Raise your hand on completion to handover the used rough paper to administrator.
