A Common Entrance Test designated as Physical Education Common Entrance Test (PECET - 2013) will be conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University for the academic year 2013-2014 for seeking Admission into B.P.Ed. and U.G.D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Courses. The Application form is for Common Entrance Test for the entry into the Physical Education courses.
ELIGIBILITY TO APPEAR FOR PECET - 2013
Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for PECET- 2013.
1. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality.
2. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh only.
Eligibility for B.P.Ed. : Candidates should have appeared third year degree final examination or passed three years degree recognized by any university in A.P. or any other university recognized as equivalent there to and should have completed 19 years of age on 01.07.2013. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counseling.
Eligibility for U.G.D.P.Ed. : Candidates should have appeared or passed Intermediate or equivalent course recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and should have completed 16 years of age on 01.07.2013. However, the candidate has to submit the pass certificate at the time of counseling.
The in-service Physical Education Teachers (P.E.Ts) seeking admission into B.P.Ed. Course or U.G.D.P.Ed. (2 Years) Course need not appear for any Entrance Test conducted by PECET Convener. They have to apply directly to the Director of School Education, Hyderabad through their respective D.E.O.s through proper channel. The Director of School Education will nominate a limited number of candidates to the respective colleges.
Note: Graduates obtained the degree under distance mode from Deemed to be Universities and Private Universities are not eligible unless such programmes have the approval of joint action committee of UGC and Distance Education Council and AICTE.
USER GUIDE TO FILL IN THE PECET– 2013 ONLINE APPLICATION FORM :
1. On your Internet Browser (preferably Internet Explorer version 6.0 and above) type the website address www.appecet.org, press ENTER button and you will see the following screen displayed on the computer screen.
2. Click on the “APPLYONLINE” field as shown encircled below.
3. The following “Registration Fee Payment Procedure” Web Page will appear on the screen:
4. In the above page, select the appropriate Registration Fee payment mode (APOnline/e-Seva /MeeSeva or Debit/Credit card)
(a) If the selected payment mode selected is AP Online / e-Seva/ MeeSeva follow the instructions given in the screen shot above of the “Registration Fee Payment Procedure” webpage.
(b) Keep all the mandatory details ready required for filling in the Online Application form along with the Transaction ID. And click on the encircled “Click here if paid through APOnline / e-Seva/MeeSeva” button below.
5. After clicking the above button, the following “Payment Verification” web page will appear. Fill in all the details in the respective fields and Click on the encircled button “Proceed to Online Application Form filling”.
For example, refer the “Payment Verification” page with the details entered:
After clicking the above button is clicked, it will proceed to the Step 7 where the Online Application Form will be displayed on the screen. Ignore Step 6 as it belongs to Debit card / Credit card payment mode.
6. If the payment selected mode is Debit card / Credit card, follow the instructions given in the above screen shot of the Registration Fee Payment Procedure web page and Click on the encircled box below.
If the selected payment mode is through the DEBIT /CREDIT CARD (PAYMENT GATE WAY) the control will be navigated to the PAYMENT GATEWAY, for payment purpose. Once the payment is completed, the candidate will be automatically redirected to the website page to complete the Online Application Form with the required details.
(NOTE: During the Payment process, DO NOT click on Back / Refresh buttons or DO NOT close the Browser page abruptly.)
The following pages will be displayed during the Registration Fee Payment through Debit/Credit card and proceed to the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM.
Select Proceed to Pay the Fee Through Payment Gateway Using Credit Card/ Debit Card. If already fee paid using Credit Card /Debit Card then select
Proceed to Verify and fill Application form if already paid through Credit Card / Debit Card.
Payment Through Credit Card / Debit Card page:
After entering the correct and mandatory details in the given below in the page of Payment Through Credit card/Debit card page given below, select the card type (VISA or MasterCard or Maestro) mentioned on the card and click the encircled button Make Payment. Be ready with the Card related details like (Card number, Expiry date/ From date, Security Code / CVV Number etc.)
The control will take you to the BANK page (eg: AXIS BANK). Select the relevant card logo, it will proceed to the next page.
Enter the relevant details like Card Number, Expiry Date & Security Code and click the encircled button PAY NOW.
(NOTE: During the Payment process, DO NOT click on Back/Refresh buttons or DO NOT close the Browser page abruptly, instead maintain patience as prompted on the screen).
The confirmation of successful payment of Registration Fee is shown with the “Transaction is successful” item in the below page “Payment Status”. Click on the encircled button “Proceed to Online Application Form filling”

Last date for Submission of Online Application form 18-04-2013 (Thursday)
Date of the Examination 02-05-2013(Thursday) Onwards

How do I apply online?
Visit the PECET website www.appecet.org and go through the information carefully. Be ready with the “mandatory details” and then Click on “APPLY ONLINE” field. It will guide you through the whole process by providing information about PECET-2013.
