Candidates are advised to follow the instructions given below :-
1) The mere fact that any name, published in the list, does not by itself ensure admission of the candidate concerned unless his/her original credentials are found in order during verification. The selection for admission will be final only after proper verification of the credentials in original.

2) For correction of mistake in the provisional merit list as well as waiting list, in respect of name, form no., category, grade point or length of service, subject and others, as mentioned in the application form, written intimation of a candidate must reach the office of the Secretary, U.G. Council, B.U. within 12.06.2013.

3) In the published lists, ‘G’ denotes General, ‘S’ denotes Scheduled Caste, ‘T’ denotes Scheduled Tribe and ‘P’ denotes Persons with Disability.

4) During counselling candidates or their authorized representatives are advised to bring with them the receipt of the application form and all the credentials in original.

5) If any candidate (or his/her authorized representative) fails to turn up on the stipulated date & time of counselling he/she will not be considered for admission in any case.

6) Admission of the candidates, who will choose the Department of Education, B.U., will be made by the Office of the Secretary, Faculty Council (Arts etc.), B.U. Admission fee : Rs. 4,000/-(approx.) for Fresh Candidates & Rs. 5,000/-(approx,) for Deputed Candidates including examination fee.

7) Two new Colleges namely, Sonar Tori College of Education, Vill-Balutia, P.O. Banwaribad, Ketugram, Burdwan [Method subjects : Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Math.& Physical Science] and Gourangdi B.Ed. College, Vill.& P.O.-Gourangdi (Panuria), Burdawn [Method subjects : Bengali, English, Sanskrit, History, Pol.Science & Geography] have been affiliated to the University of Burdwan and recognized by the NCTE w.e.f. 2013-’14. Selection of candidates for admission to this course in the above two colleges also will be made through Counselling.

8) Life Science, Physical Science, Math./ Stat. etc. as the 1st method will be available in Radha Gobinda B.Ed. Teachers’ Training College, Jhapandanga, Burdwan and Durgapur B.Ed. College, Bidhannagore, Durgapur, Burdwan.
