M.Tech. Admissions 2013

Procedure for online application :
Application process for M.Tech. Admissions at DTU for session 2013-14 will be online. Candidates willing to apply for admission in various M.Tech. courses at DTU can visit DTU admission website dtuadmissions.nic.in. Online application process will start from April 25, 2013. Detailed admission schedule for M.Tech. courses will be announce shortly, and will be available on this website along with other related details about courses, eligibility criteria, number of seats, fee, and refund rules.

There are three types of M.Tech. courses at DTU.
1. Full time (FT) (two year course).
2. Sponsored Full time sponsored (SFT) (two year course).
3. Part time (PT) (three year course)

IMPORTANT: One application form is required for each department. If candidate is willing to apply for full time(FT) as well as sponsored (SFT)/part time(PT) in a department, he/she is required to make multiple registrations and fill separate applications for each type of course in a department. For each registration made by candidate, separate registration fee is required to be deposited by candidate. Admissions for full time(FT) courses will be done on the basis of GATE score/percentile only, where as admissions for sponsored full time (SFT) and part time (PT) courses will be done on the basis of qualifying examination percentage, a written test and interview.

Candidates are required to first register themselves and fill complete application form. Separate application forms are to be filled for each department and each type of course (FT/SFT/PT). For departments with more than one specialization, candidate can specify preferences for specializations, while applying for that department.

After completing online application form, when candidate submits application form, he will be asked to create a password for this website. An 8-digit registration number will be generated by system after completion of application form. Candidates are required to note down the registration number for future use as this registration number is the login ID for candidates account on this website. System will also generate SBI Bank Challan for registration fee. Candidates are required to take the print of this Bank Challan and deposit the registration fee at any branch of State Bank of India during period specified in the schedule (dates will be announced shortly). A confirmation for their registration fee deposited will be available in candidates registration account, two days after last date of registration fee deposit.
