ENTRANCE EXAMINATION FOR NEIGRIHMS–PG (MD/MS) and DM (Cardiology) COURSES, SESSION 2013-14

Applications are invited in the prescribed form for admission to NEIGRIHMS-PG (MD/MS) Courses (affiliated to North Eastern Hill University, Shillong, Meghalaya) for the session 2013-14.

1. PG (MD/MS):
NEIGRIHMS shall conduct Entrance Examination to fill up the seats available for Open NE category only. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates having Permanent Resident/Domicile certificate of any of the North Eastern States including Sikkim. The number of seats available in each specialty for the session 2013-14 is shown below;

2. DM in Cardiology:
Applications are invited from eligible candidates from all over India. The number of seats available for the Super specialty (Post doctoral) course is shown below;

Total Seats : 2

Allocation of seats: Seats will be allocated to the candidates purely on the basis of merit, i.e. ranking in Entrance Examination (in case of DM in Cardiology combined result of written and clinical / practical / lab based assessment)

How To Apply :
PROCEDURE TO GET APPLICATION FORM:
(a) Option-1: Prospectus cum Application form is available and downloadable w.e.f. 29th May, 2013 to 22nd June, 2013 from the NEIGRIHMS website Candidates downloading the Prospectus cum Application form may refer to the procedure of payment available at the prospectus.
(b) Option-2: Prospectus cum Application form are also available in the NEIGRIHMS counter located at the Director`s Block, NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, against the Bank Challan available at the counter and also at the local Branch of “Bank of Baroda, Mawdiangdiang Branch, Shillong” located within the NEIGRIHMS premises w.e.f 29th May, 2013 to 22nd June, 2013 (10.00 am to 4.30 pm).

Cost Of The Prospectus Including Exmiantion Fee: Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand Only)

PROCEDURE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM:
(a) Duly filled in Application forms must be submitted at the “Drop Box of Examination Cell” placed outside the Examination Cell, Director`s Block, NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong – 793018 from 29th May, 2013 to 22nd June, 2013 between 10.00 am to 4.30 pm (Monday to Friday except the Central Government Holidays). Application Forms must be addressed to
“Examination Cell,

Shillong – 793018”
by super scribing “Application for PG (MD/MS) Entrance of NEIGRIHMS” at the top of the envelope.

(b) Candidates can also scan their duly filled in applications forms and other documents to be enclosed and send in email address of Examination Cell - examcellneigrihms@gmail.com as attachment. Please do not compress the scanned documents. However, candidates must pay the Examination Fees through any of the options as indicated in the Prospectus. Candidates must attach the scanned copy of the original NEIGRIHMS copy of Challan along with the Application Form as proof of payment.
