The Forest Research Institute University admission test, 2013 will be held at 38 centres in the country on Sunday, 12th May, 2013 for the following courses

1.Name of the Course : M.Sc. Forestry
Duration (Years) : 2
Eligibility requirement : Three years bachelor’s degree in science with at least one of the subjects namely Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry.

2.Name of the Course : M.Sc. Wood Science & Technology
Duration (Years) : 2
Eligibility requirement : Three years bachelor’s degree with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or B.Sc. degree in Forestry.

3.Name of the Course : M.Sc. Environment Management
Duration (Years) : 2
Eligibility requirement : Three years bachelor’s degree in any branch of Basic or Applied Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or Agriculture or BE in Environment Science.

4.Name of the Course : M. Sc. Cellulose & Paper Technology
Duration (Years) : 2
Eligibility requirement : Graduate degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate in Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects. BE/B.Tech. (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% aggregate).

Fee : Bank Draft of Rs. 1200/- (Rupees Twelve hundred only) payable at Dehradun in favour of Registrar, FRI (Deemed) University

How to Apply :
i) Indian students can download the application forms from the website which are in MS-Word format or apply online.

ii) Completed application forms alongwith a Bank Draft is to be sent at
“EXON SOLUTIONS PVT LTD,

New Delhi -110017”.

iii) Please also mention the name of course’(s) applied for, on the envelope.

IMPORTANT DATES :
1. Last date for receiving completed : 12th April, 2013 application forms
2. Date of admission test : 12th May, 2013
3. Date of Ist counseling : 8th July, 2013
4. Date of IInd counseling : 10th July, 2013
5. Date of starting new session : 12th July, 2013

Note : The Admit Card for the FRI (Deemed) University Online Admission Test - 2013 will be sent by email/SMS before one week of date of online exam (12th May 2013 - Sunday).
