    SESSION : 2012-2013

    North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS), Shillong invites application from candidates to fill-up seats in various educational courses for the session, 2012-13 as follows :
    Sl.No Courses Seats Dates of Entrance Exam Last dates for submission of forms Basic eligible criteria
    1. MBBS 18 (Open North East) 22"d july,2012 (Sunday) 20th April,2012 i. Higher/Senior Secondary passed or appearing. ii. Permanent residential/domicile of the 8 (eight) North- Eastern states including Sikkim.iii. Must pass Physics, Chemistry,Biology and English individually and obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the subjects of (PCB) in 10+2 Exam.

    2. B.Sc (Nursing) 50 (Open) 17th June,2012 (Sunday) 2rh April,2012 i. Higher/Senior Secondary passed or appearing.ii. Must obtain a minimum of 45%marks in aggregate in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in 10+ 2 Exam.

    The prospectus - cum- application form can be downloaded from the
    NEIGRIHMS website or obtained personally from NEIGRIHMS counter from
    12/03/2012 to 12/04/2012 for MBBS Course and 12/03/2012 to 20/04/2012 for B.Sc (Nursing) course f rom (10 :00 a.m to 4:00 pm), Monday to Friday (Except Central Government Holidays) against a 6 (six) months valid demand draft/ Banker's Cheque in favour of "Director, NEIGRIHMS" payable at Shillong amounting as
    follows :
    1. B.Sc (Nursing) ~500/- (Rupees Five hundred only)
    2. MBBS ~600/- (Rupees Six hundred only)

    Will there be a separate entrance examination for MBBS for admission in neigrihms in the year 2013 or you will admit thru NEET-2013?
