CMTI invites bright Engineering Graduates and Post Graduates with consistent academic record and aptitude for R & D work.

Name of the post : APPRENTICE OFFICER

Qualifications: First class Engineering Graduates /Post Graduates in Mechanical / Electronics / Computer Science Engineering and related fields (Refer to General conditions (m) for fields of specialization) with an aggregate of not less than 65% marks in the Degree and Post Graduation.

Age Limit: 26 years for Graduate engineers and 28 years for Post Graduates engineers as on October 01, 2013.

Service Contract: Selected candidates will have to execute a Service Agreement for a minimum period of THREE years excluding the period of Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship And Emoluments:
a. The period of Apprenticeship will be two years in the case of Graduates and One year in the case of Post Graduates, during which period stipend of Rs. 25,000/- and 30,000/- respectively would be paid.
b. On satisfactory completion of Apprenticeship, they will be absorbed as Scientist-B in the scale of Rs.15600-39100 with grade pay of Rs.5400/-.
c. Post Graduates will be given 2 advance Increments. Total emoluments, at the minimum of the scale, would be around Rs. 49860/-

Fee : Demand Draft for Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/ST and women candidates) drawn in the favour of “CMTI, Bangalore” (Payable at Bangalore)

i) The candidates may register their application online between 28th August, 2013 to 23rd September, 2013.

ii) On successful completion of online registration, the candidate is required to write the application Registration No. on the reverse of the Demand Draft with applicants name which shall be forwarded along with copy of acknowledgement, a recent passport size photograph duly signed and copies of Degree certificate, marks card of all the semesters, Caste Certificate and duly super-scribed on the envelope “Application for the post of Apprentice Officer (APO)”, to

Qualification:
1. First Class M.Sc. in Chemistry - Physical/In-organic/Polymer Material.
2. First Class M.Sc. In Physics-Solid State/Electro Optics/Laser Technology.
Experience: Five years post qualification in the relevant field.

Scale of Pay: Rs.9,300-34,800, initial basic Rs.12,540/- with Grade Pay of Rs.4,600/- and other benefits include EPF, Gratuity, Medical, LTC etc.
