Applications in prescribed forms are invited from the bonafide Indian Nationals for recruitment to the 16 (sixteen) (SC-01, ST-07 & UR-08) posts of Forest Ranger under Department of Forest, Government of Tripura in the scale of pay of Rs. 5310-24,000/- Pay Band-2 with Grade pay Rs. 2400/-.

Physical Standards and Medical fitness : Candidates must conform to Physical standards and Medical fitness as prescribed under the Entrances and Training Rules (Revised), 2004 for Forest Officers of the Govt. of India.

i) Application format can be downloaded from the website.

ii) Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of `5/- (rupees five) is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date (31-12-2012). Applicants may obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number from reception counter of the Commission.

The Recruitment process will comprise of three successive stages in the sequence of
(a) Written Examination,
(b) Physical Efficiency Test &
(c) Interview.

The Written Examination and Interview will carry 600 marks and 75 marks respectively.
