NOTICE FOR CONDUCTING PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST FROM 09.10.2012 TO 16.10.2012 IN REFERENCE TO EMPLOYMENT NOTICE NO. RRC/ECR/Group-D/1/2010

1. For recruitment to the posts notified vide Employment Notice No. RRC/ECR/Group-D/1/2010, written examination was conducted in May and June 2012 based on which a list of 19607 candidates found eligible for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) was published on 31.08.2012. Now, all such candidates are hereby informed that the 2nd stage of the selection process, i.e., Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is scheduled to be held from 09.10.2012 to 16.10.2012 at under mentioned venues in three Divisions of East Central Railway, viz., Dhanbad, Mughalsarai and Sonpur for which Call-letters have already been issued through Ordinary Post:

Dhanbad Division – RAILWAY STADIUM NEAR DHANBAD RAILWAY STATION, DIST. DHANBAD, JHARKHAND-832001
Mughalsarai Division – MAITRI SANSTHAN STADIUM INDIAN INSTITUTE COLONY, MUGHALSARAI, DIST-CHANDAULI, UTTAR PRADESH
Sonpur Division - SONPUR RAILWAY STADIUM NEAR SONPUR RAILWAY STATION (DAKSHIN DWAR), PO SONPUR, DIST. SARAN, BIHAR-841101

2. Female candidates: It is specially informed that PET for all the eligible female candidates shall be organized only in Sonpur on 16.10.2012.

3. Availability of candidate-wise information regarding date and venue on website: Candidate-wise information regarding date and venue is available on Railway Recruitment Cell’s website from where the candidate may know the details and approach to Railway Recruitment Cell, Polson Complex, Dighaghat, Patna – 800011 as per the schedule given below to obtain Duplicate Call Letter if he/she does not receive the original Call Letter for PET:

16.10.2012 12.10.2012 and 15.10.2012
Duplicate Call Letters shall be issued from 10.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs on the above dates.

4. To appear in the Physical Efficiency Test, the candidate must have the original or duplicate call letter with scanned photograph issued by Railway Recruitment Cell. Candidates shall not be allowed to appear in PET without a call letter or with photo copy/scanned copy/fax copy of the call letter. Further, candidates shall not be allowed to appear in PET on the basis of print out of the website information. Hence, candidates are advised to obtain duplicate call letter if they do not receive the original call letter for which they can appear in Railway Recruitment Cell’s office with photocopy of the admit card of written examination and one passport size photograph.

5. Any modification/change in above programme will be advertised from website/newspapers. Railway administration reserves all rights to change the schedule of PET in respect of any candidate and no claim in this regard shall be entertained. Candidates are further informed that appearing in PET is solely on their own risk and Railway administration, in no way, shall be responsible for any loss/damage/injury.

Candidate found guilty of impersonation shall be debarred for life time from all examination or selections conducted by any Railway Recruitment Cells/Railway Recruitment Boards.

PLEASE BEWARE OF UNSCRUPULOUS ELEMENTS AND DO NOT FALL IN THEIR TRAP. CANDIDATES WILL BE SELECTED PURELY AS PER MERIT.
