RECRUITMENT RALLY FOR GROUP ‘X’ (EDUCATION INSTRUCTOR) TRADE AT
1 AIRMEN SELECTION CENTRE, 48 MANSFIELD ROAD, AMBALA CANTT (HARYANA)

Indian Air Force offers opportunities for unmarried/married MALE INDIAN CITIZENS from all the States and Union Territories to join in Group ‘X’ (Education Instructor) trade as Senior Non Commissioned Officer. The Recruitment Test will be held at 1 Airmen Selection Centre, 48 Mansfield Road, Ambala Cantt (Haryana) from 02 July 2012 to 08 July 2012 as per the Selection Programme given below.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
** Graduate in Arts, Commerce or Science with B Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government Recognised School/College. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Graduation as well as B Ed. OR
** Post-Graduate in MA English or MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or MCA with B Ed degree or two year teaching experience in a Government recognised School/College.

DATE OF BIRTH BLOCK :
(a) For Graduates – Must be born between 01 OCTOBER 1987 to 31 AUGUST 1992 (Both days inclusive).
(b) For Post-Graduates – Must be born between 01 OCTOBER 1984 to 31 AUGUST 1992 (Both days inclusive).

MEDICAL STANDARDS :
(a) Height : Minimum height required is 152.5 cms.
(b) Chest : Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(c) Weight : Proportionate to height and age.
(d) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) not acceptable.
(e) Vision : Minimum Visual Standard: Unaided 6/36 and correctable to at least 6/9 for each eye with spectacles, Dioptectric power not exceeding + 3.5 including astigmatism. Full field of vision and Defective safe colour vision CP-II/III.
(f) Hearing : Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(g) Dental : Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(h) Health : Candidate should be free from medical or surgical deformity. He should be free from all communicable diseases and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY :
Certificates/Mark Sheets and other required documents will be scrutinized and verified at the examination venue on the days of written test.

WRITTEN TEST.
PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT).
INTERVIEW.
MEDICAL EXAMINATION.

PUBLISHING OF AISL :
The All India Select List (AISL) will be displayed at 1 Airmen Selection Centre, 48 Mansfield Road, Ambala Cantt (Haryana) on 31 JULY 2012.
A copy of the Display List will also be available at Indian Air Force website

WRITING MATERIALS AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED :
Candidates are to bring the following
** HB Pencil, Eraser, Sharpener, Gum tube, Stapler and Black/Blue Ball Point Pen for writing.
** Seven copies of recent front portrait (without headgear except for Sikh) passport-size (5 cm X 4 cm) colour photograph taken on or after 02 April 2012. Photographs should be on good quality “photo paper” with light background.
** Two unstamped self-addressed 24x10 cm white envelopes of good quality.
** Original Matriculation Pass Certificate along with three photocopies for verification of Date of Birth.
** Original Pass Certificates and Mark sheets of all semesters of Graduation or Post-Graduation, along with three photocopies of each.
** Original B.Ed Degree Certificate or Two year teaching experience certificate from a Government recognised school/college, along with three photocopies of the same.
** Original NCC Certificate (A, B or C only), if applicable, along with three photocopies of the same.
** Original ‘Son of Air Force Personnel’ (SOAFP) Certificate/Discharge Book, if applicable, along with one photocopy of the same.

** CANDIDATES ARE NOT TO FILL UP APPLICATION FORMS BEFORE THE EXAMINATION. THE FORMS WILL BE PROVIDED FREE OF COST AT THE RECRUITMENT RALLY SITE BY THE INDIAN AIR FORCE AUTHORITIES AND ARE TO BE FILLED BY THE CANDIDATES AT THE RALLY SITE.
