Recruitment in Group 'D' from open market in Chakradharpur Division of S.E. Railway against Sports Quota for the year 2011-2012.

Applications are invited from eligible male candidates for recruitment from Open Market in Group ‘D’ posts in PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- RS(RP)’08 with Grade Pay Rs.1800/- against Sports Quota for the year 2011-12 in Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway in the following disciplines:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1) Minimum Sports Achievement required:- The applicant must have
a) Represented the Country in any of the following Championships/events:-
i) Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category)
ii) Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)
iii) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category)
iv) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category) OR
b) Obtained at least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category). OR
c) Represented a State or equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships. OR
d) Obtained at least 3rd Position in Senior State Championship for all Units and District of the State.

Age Limit :- The candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and should not be more than 25 years of age as on 01.01.2012. No age relaxation shall be permissible.

Minimum Educational Qualification:- The candidate must have completed Matriculation from a Government Recognized School. No relaxation in the minimum educational qualification shall be permissible.

The Application must be accompanied by Three (03) recent colour Passport size photographs, one of which should be pasted at the space provided in the Application Form while the remaining should be stapled with the application. The Photographs should be signed by the candidate and attested by a Gazetted Officer.
The candidates must also enclose one self addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs. 25/- only affixed on the envelope along with the application form. SC/ST candidates need not affix the Postal Stamp on the envelope.
UR & OBC candidates must also enclose an IPO of Rs. 40/- only as processing fee in favour of Sr. Divisional Finance Manager/ S.E.Railway/Chakradharpur. SC/ST candidates shall not be required to pay any fees.

Applications can either be dropped in the sealed box kept in the office of Sr. Divisional Personnel Officer (Recruitment)/ S.E.Railway/ Chakradharpur between 10:00 hrs to 18:00 hrs on any working day or sent through post. Applications received after 18:00 hrs on 13/01/2012 will not be considered. The Railway administration shall not be responsible for any postal delays or postal lapses.
