Recruitment to the post of Lecturers in different disciplines of the Art &Crafts Colleges (Govt. College of Art & Crafts, Khallikote and B .K. College of Art & Crafts, Bhubaneswar).
Applications are invited Online through the proforma Application Form to be made available on WEBSITE 04.08.2012 to 04.09.2012.. fee) for recruitment to the following posts of Lecturer in Art & Crafts in Class-II, Group-B of Odisha Culture Service under Tourism & Culture(Culture) Department, in the pay scale of Rs.9300-34,800/- carrying Grade pay of Rs.4200 with usual Dearness and other allowances as may be sanctioned by the Government of Odisha from time to time.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate should have possessed Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline or its equivalent Examination with at least 55% of marks. Provided that a candidate having Doctorate Degree in the relevant subject and Experience as a performing Artist will be given preference.

AGE : A candidate should be under 32(thirty-two) years and over 21(twenty- one) years of age on the 1st January 2012 i.e. he/she must not have born earlier than 2nd January,1980 and not later than 1st January, 1991.

APPLICATION FEE :Rs.300/-
candidates are required to take a printout of finally submitted online Application for future use and take printout of online chalan (pay- in- slip) for payment of requisite fee at any branch of State Bank of India(SBI).

METHOD OF SELECTION : The recruitment shall be made through a competitive written examination and Viva Voce test to be conducted by the Commission in accordance with the provision of Odisha Culture Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Services) Rules, 2006 and general instructions as provided under APPENDIX-A and APPENDIX B of this long advertisement. APPENDIX-A contains syllabus and plan of examination and APPENDIX-B contains General instructions to be followed in the competitive examination for direct recruitment.
